Your Accessable Recreation after school program has given my special needs child dignity after years of hoping for a program like it and never finding one. In the teen years especially, I had given up hope of care for him that wasn’t isolated. You’ve given him a gift of connecting with others in social hours after the school day, which is usually not available to students in a significant way who are in special education. Thank you for giving him a place to belong and me respite and the opportunity to consider what steps to take for career and education after giving up on them for myself to be a stay at home special needs parent caregiver. Rochester Accessable Rec has given my child confidence and saved me...
