on Tuesdays they have taco Tuesday. Tacos are 50¢. They are small tho but you can order as many as you want to.

They have ok products inside but not all of the products have a price on them so sometimes you go to the cashier not really knowing the total amount.

Also I went to get some stuff and the total was about $40. However, they were overcharging me ($92) because of a mistake on their system when they scanned one of the barcodes. It was charging a weird price making my total go from $40 to $92.

I had to check item by item because it didn’t make sense to me. I was not buying anything crazy expensive.

Then after I was standing up there confused about the entierre situation, the cashier told me there was a mistake so she fixed it.

However if I don’t stopped and question the amount I would’ve been overcharged. So just be careful whenever you buy stuff in there.

The staff don’t seem bilingual. So make sure you go with somebody that speaks Spanish since not all of their products have a price on them.

The cashiers are a hit or miss. Some are friendly some others need to improve their costumer service skills.

They do have a parking lot with potholes in front of the store. The parking area seems a little bit messy.

In general is an ok store, maybe some of the products are overpriced because is the only Hispanic grocery store in the area?. Besides that I think taco Tuesday it’s worth it if you order more than 6 tacos. (Remember they are...

I have been wanting to try this place for over a year when I saw it advertised on Facebook. I finally was in Rock Hill on a Tuesday and made a special trip to try their .50 taco Tuesday. Unfortunately you get what you pay for. They are not normal size tacos; they are tiny… one or two bites. Had I known this, I would have ordered enough to fill me up. You have to get right up to the counter to order or you will get skipped. I order 3 chicken tacos and 3 beef. The chicken was dried out and cold and one of my beef tacos was nothing but a hunk of fat. Also, watch the price they put on your box because they put $6 for 6 tacos and I had to show the lady at checkout I only had 6 and it should be $3. The market itself has a lot of items and the fresh meats and vegetables look good, although I cannot review the quality. I’m willing to give this place another try but I will get a different meat next time and order...

I first heard about this gem on a Facebook page. $.50 cent taco Tuesday! The post said that there would be a long wait so call ahead which I did. They are smaller tacos and they put the cilantro and onions on the side which kind of put me off. They were good but I was hesitant about returning on a day other than Tuesday. I’m so glad I did. The tacos were delicious, much larger, had all the toppings and extras, and were $2.

I decided to try taco Tuesday once again. This time everything was on point. Cilantro and onions were on the tacos. Who can beat $.50 a taco. Now I go here every Tuesday. I have a family of three and I feed my family with 30 tacos for $15. Hands-down best authentic tacos I’ve had in the Charlotte area. Granted you can go to a food truck and get a great taco for $3.50 or $4.00. At this gem on a Wednesday you can get for tacos for $8.00. Or go on a Tuesday and get Twenty...

This is the most authentic Mexican food on the south side of Charlotte. It’s from a no frills mercado in Rock Hill called Las Americas, where they make everything from scratch. Think fresh ground masa for corn tortillas, crispy empanadas filled with chicken or beef, even the flour tortillas for their burritos are stretched by hand - and it makes all the difference. Their birria tacos are my favorite thing on the menu! LOADED with meat and cheese, they come out piping hot. They’re so flavorful and served with a delicious consommé to dip them in. But you can’t go wrong with their regular tacos either. Hands down the best deal around town, they have 7 types to choose from (Asada, Barbacoa, Chicken, Al Pastor, Chorizo, Camechano, and Carnitas), which are only 50 cents on Tuesdays!

But don’t overlook the other menu items. The chilaquiles are the best I’ve had around Charlotte. Fried tortillas topped with a tomatillo sauce, crema, and cheese, before adding fried eggs and cecina. It doesn’t look like anything special, but between the flavors and textures - you need to try it. I’m also a big fan of the tortas. Normally I’d order a chicken milanesa, but I tried the Cubana on my last visit, where they take several different meats and top it with eggs, beans, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and avocado. It’s so filling, a definite big back meal.

And then there are the burritos. They freshly make the flour tortilla and then stuff it with cheese, rice, and beans, along with your favorite protein, until they’re absolutely bursting. It’s a classic.

The Carne Asada Fries are also a must order. They take perfectly golden fries and top them with meat, queso, salsa aguacate, cheese, and crema. And while more of a Californian favorite than authentic Mexican, they’re extremely delicious.

But all that is just a fraction of what you can get. They have everything from aquas frescas and gorditas to pupusas and a whole fried fish. You honestly can’t go wrong with anything you try here though; so take a trip to Rock Hill. It’s definitely worth it. 📍1906 Cherry Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732 #restaurantreview #charlottenc #charlotte #mexicanfood #authenticmexicanfood #mexican #birriatacos #birria #chilaquiles #chilaquilesverdes #carneasada #carneasadafries #tacos #burrito

Definitely have to go more than once. Prices are hit and miss, some are less some are more than other similar shops so I guess overall they are affordable, but it's a small specialty grocery shop with surprisingly a huge option of items. Can't believe how much product they packed in that place. All the dry herb selections. Wow! Can't wait to go back and look through everything. So glad it's so close to my home. Their tacos are exquisite!!! Bite size mini tacos at the back of the shop, seems they have a whole kitchen back there including a barbeque section? I don't know but the restaurant food is so fresh, truly authentic Mexican food not like the Mexi-merican/Mexi-Cali standard food in American/Mexican large restaurants. As if i went to Mexico and was served dinner there at their home. If you love anything imported from down south of the border, they might carry it. Love their souvenirs!
