We attended a sports event of Kickboxing and MMA
This place is awesome !
Very clean, safe and well-managed.
The temperature inside was very well regulated, no matter where you were at, and that is a very hard thing to do and something I battle with often.
Unbelievably well designed.
I also want to make a note that the acoustics were amazing in here. There’s not a bad seat in the house whatsoever.
The pictures and videos that I posted doesn’t really do the place justice, but it was packed full of energy and I really enjoyed the event there and would highly recommend anybody considering this place for their venue.
Very nice place .
The other thing that I really enjoyed about this place is that there is a shopping center around this area that has restaurants, hotels in different shop and seems to have a little something for everybody.
It was like a little village, but an unbelievable amount of room to grow into it .
There’s a really good burrito restaurant called dank burrito close by hotel seemed really nice.
We did not stay at the hotel, but I did talk to a few people that said it was really nice.
You could tell it was clean and there’s a shared parking garage the event center.
It was a really good experience. The people were awesome inside. Some of these events the security guards in the staff are nothing short of tyrants.
I highly...
Read moreVery nice venue. Low rating is the parking. We have been to two volleyball tournaments now and parking in the deck has been horrible both times. Volleyball tournaments happen in two waves. One Am and one PM. Deck is full during AM and needs time to empty before the next. Unfortunately, RHSEC has failed to understand this. First time no indication of full lots so complete traffic jam. We were told this time there was a fix. When entering the attendant was asked if the lot was full - had no ide jut kept letting cars in. well spots were open. Upon exit, we entered the floor where the car was located only to see a line of vehicles - people had already been sitting there for 30 minutes. The same attendants were allowing cars into the deck with no spots - another traffic jam. 1.5 hours later we were able to exit. Once out we discovered a College basketball had had been scheduled at the venue in the middle of the PM wave of the volleyball tournament. bad planning. Open the surface lot on the far end of the complex and allow the PM wave and additional events to park there. You have to know the number of spaces in the deck.
We were refunded the second day parking fee because we refused to use the...
Read moreThe facility itself is excellent. It has multiple har wood basketball courts and it would be the idea place to have an AAU or similar tournament. As for a college basketball tournament, I am not too sure. I am told that the "Championship" court holds about 3500. Again great for AAU, but not for a college conference championship. The Rock Hill city staff members were great. I have to question the SIAC staff. I had put in for media credentials 1st in mid-February, and again last week while at the CIAA. When I arrived I was informed 1st that they never recieved my info. I was later informed that I must have requested credentials for SIAC Championships (which I now understand is a separate link) then the basketball championships (go figure) I was told I had to purchase a ticket even though I had media credentials on me including last weekend's CIAA Tournament. I know this is a new age BUT they couldn't take cash and I had to use my smart phone to put the charge on my debit card. Luckily for me the Rock Hill staff person helped me with that task. It was ironic that I was the only person on press row for Thursdays games that was going to do a story on that...
