Sleeping Giant Distillery — Local services in Rock Hill

As we were driving in Rock Hill we made an impromptu right turn and came across the Sleeping Giant Distillery, we've never been so decided to be spontaneous, and try out their selection!

As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a warm welcome and an offer to try their tasting option which we quickly responded yes! The tasting includes a high quality branded shot glass plus we get to try 4 of their available rum flavors along with their preselected mixers.

Today's selections included their silver rum, coffee flavored rum, spiced rum, and their lemongrass vanilla rum 😍

All of the rums plus their mixers were perfect!

While we were tasting each rum, the owner explained their process and the composition of each rum ✨

At the end of this quick impromptu stop, we got two bottles of the lemongrass vanilla rum and we are looking forward to share with family...

I was visiting from Virginia when I found this distillery and I'm so glad I did. What a great location! Love the building! The staff is so so friendly and helpful and not pushy. It's a unique experience. I like supporting small businesses. If you get a chance, I recommend stopping by. I wish I lived closer. We stopped in today and tried a flight of rum. They were excellent! Each and every one! My favorites were the Beach Bum and the Maple. The rums go down smooth with a more pronounced flavor profile on the back end. It’s too bad we don’t live closer as they have some very interesting flavors coming soon.
