epilogue books — Local services in Rockford

This is such a cute and well stocked local indie bookstore! (I can’t believe some people left negative reviews about this being a “tourist” store or closed for a conference. Come on guys, let’s be reasonable.). I live in Grand Rapids and frequent Books and Mortar but I wanted to browse in a shop that I knew would have a wider selection. I picked up 4 books (oops) and had a great time browsing. A lot of progressive books, and I also enjoyed the current events and health/mind/body related stuff. the location maybe a touch difficult to find if you haven't looked it up. It's a great little space tucked between the trail and the river in downtown Rockford. There is a patio area to sit, read and relax. A nice little play area for kids to entertain while you select your books. A small snack and beverage area. So if you are looking for an expresso and a quiet place to read a book, you can do that here. It isn't a large store but they are very helpful and accommodating. BOTTOM LINE : a cozy little bookstore conveniently located downtown. Great staff will help you get what you need!

PRO : The shop may be small, but the offerings are large and the staff is super friendly and helpful. They knew exactly what I was looking for (multiple different searches) and were happy to let my pup come in with me. Will definitely return often.
