Kathy Lund Community Park — Attraction in Rocklin

Parking is an issue. If you want to bring your dog for a walk or your family for a picnic or just go for a walk yourself, it is difficult to find a place to park because of the many organized sports activities and activity at the splash pad. During the summer months, it's all day on the weekends and usually mornings and evenings during the week. During the spring parking is more accessible. And during the winter, it's always accessible. This park has 2 parking lots.....one off of Lonetree and the other off of West Oaks. There are also 2 sets of bathrooms.....one set in each parking lot. Note that these bathrooms are well used. The play area has a splash pad for the kids and a play structure. There are picnic tables and a bbq. The picnic table area is covered. The walking/jogging/biking path is great. There is a sign that states the path is 1...

My family went to see a movie (Back To The Future) at Kathy Lund park tonight and we were really pleased with the park! They have a good sized park, plenty of field space, water pad (for smaller kids), and clean restrooms. Very clean park. The movie night was a fun idea, I’d guess about 400 people went, there were a couple food venders, I got kettle corn from one of them. Fun time! We will go back to more events at this park or take the kids here to play if we are in the area....

Took my daughter to movie night at this park last nite 6-16-17. They showed the Secret Life Of Pets. We packed a picnic and had a wonderful night. This park is actually our 2nd favorite. Whitney park is our 1st. It is a wonderful park as are all of the parks in Rocklin. This park has a wonderful play area for children, a few top notch baseball fields, and free WIFI.
