I wouldn't suggest anyone utilize this business. I've never written a review for any company but they deserve a review. It was the worst error I've ever made, and I obtained their information from a buddy. While we were moving, his guys stole my son's bike. Just now I notice that my power wash is also gone. Numerous pieces of furniture were destroyed, yet no one was held accountable because he did not give me a contract, so I was not even able to sue them. Please don't approach them. When I discovered that my son's bike was missing, I called the owner right away, but he ignored me. Today was the day I finally phoned him, and all I received was a terrible apology. Oh, when I gave them a gratuity and bought them lunch, they returned the favor by robbing me. His positive review are all legitimate family members and not actual clients. Best of luck to you if you become their next victim.

This is the owner (Henry) from DMV Movers LLC again not taking ownership and responsibility for his actions or those of his employees. How can you improve your business when you are lying and not making changes? His employees damaged my furniture, robbed me and the owner Henry gave a quote then changed the price which another client complained about and also left a negative review. He is not conducting a background check on these employees. He declined to take responsibility and informed me that he could not help his employee's actions. He is picking them up from the streets and bringing them to your houses. Read all the negative reviews; there is no ownership whatsoever. Read moreWhen I booked DMV Movers LLC I had very high hopes, unfortunately I was largely disappointed. I was meant to move on June 5th at 11am. At 11:15 they said they’d be an hour late. At 1pm they said the truck broke down but they were definitely still coming. At 4pm they officially cancelled on me and rescheduled for June 6th at 9:30am. On June 6th they were 15 minutes late but I will say the highlight of all of this was that the movers were very kind and efficient once they got to work. It took 3 hours to complete the move at which time I was told I owed them $470. I immediately got on the phone with the guy in charge of this operation, Henry, and told him it would be ridiculous to charge me full price considering everything. He was incredibly rude but eventually agreed to a $75 discount. After I paid and the movers left I began looking around at which I noticed that pretty much every piece of furniture I own had marks and scratches from not being handled with care (see included photos). After all of that I will say that my main gripe is with the manager who was rude, not communicative, and frankly unprofessional. Read moreI want to start by recognizing the movers themselves — they were excellent. Professional, efficient, and careful with my belongings. Their attention to detail made the moving process smooth and much less stressful, and I truly appreciated their hard work.
Unfortunately, my experience with the owner (Henry Ihienkonye, I believe is his name) was quite the opposite. We had already discussed the location and agreed on a price ahead of time, but the rate was changed later without proper explanation. When I questioned the change, the owner blamed it on the location — something we had already clearly gone over. On top of that, his tone during the call was condescending and unnecessarily rude. He came across as “nice nasty” — polite on the surface but with a dismissive and unprofessional attitude.
They also prefer to be paid through Cash App, which felt informal and left little paper trail. I requested a receipt and a breakdown of the cost, and despite following up, I still haven’t received either.
While I would recommend the actual movers based on their excellent service, I’d advise anyone considering this company to proceed with caution. Make sure to get every detail in writing — especially the final cost — and be prepared for potentially poor communication...
