Used to be one of best organic markets in the city. The rocks in the lot make it less accessible by wheelchair. Not that the other cobblestone site was that much more accessible. Hard on the spine. The move from Morse and Glenwood to a rock filled lot on Pratt near Sheridan (1233-1241 W. Pratt) has hurt the patronage of those loyal farmers who are left, becuz some people do not seem to have found it or desired to wander two blocks south of old location.
Still has very nice vendors and farmers. Run by Rogers Park Business Alliance very efficiently and considerate of food needs of residents. Used to raises funds without profit to itself to ensure that those who use Link or Snap get $3 in buying power for each $1 in Link up to $25. It is now 2 for $1. Coupons are honored at several other markets as well as Glenwood Sunday Market.
