We purchased a 2014 Accord (Sport) two years ago while the dealership was in the old location on SE Oak Street. The new facility is beautiful! In 2014 we purchased the car from salesperson Lynn Stults. My wife and I were very pleased with the service we received from Lynn. She is one of the most polite, friendly, professional salespersons we have ever dealt with during any retail buying experience. We purchased the 2014 car through the CostCo program and were very pleased with the sales price and service we received from Roseburg Honda. We were also pleased with the maintenance service we received from the dealership. Later this year (2015) we decided to purchase a new car. We applied for a CostCo certificate but to our dismay we discovered that CostCo did not list Roseburg Honda as a participating dealership as they did two years ago? We did not want to deal with anyone but Roseburg Honda and specifically trustworthy Lynn Stults. We visited Roseburg Honda and asked for Lynn and she showed us all our options. Lynn was amazed that CostCo did not list Roseburg Honda, she went to her boss and assured us we would receive the CostCo price. After considering the new 2016 Honda Accord w/navigation and the added features from 2015 that Lynn showed us, we decided on the 2016 Accord 4D EXLN SENS. The color and interior we wanted was not immediately available so Lynn went to work searching for one. She was able to locate one in Oregon and arranged for delivery...what amazed me she did all this without a formal obligation from us! She did it on faith that we were good customers and when we said something she trusted us! It was a very short time and Lynn notified us of the arrival of the car. I (Jim) looked at it and was overwhelmed by the beauty and features of the car. I fell in love with the car immediately (on a Friday). There was no negotiating hassle or unreasonable demands whatsoever. We were given an extremely fair trade-in value for the 2014 Accord and I feel the new car is worth every penny and more-so. Over the weekend the added features we wanted were added to the car. I was amazed that the car was ready the following Monday morning! The 2016 Accord is without a doubt the nicest car we have ever owned. (I am 73 years old). Since purchasing the car Lynn has faithfully kept in touch with us concerning any problems or questions we have about the car. Lynn Stults has our highest recommendation for anyone who is in the market for a new or used car. She sets the example for all the qualities a true professional salesperson should have, we came away from the dealership feeling we had just been in the company of a trusted friend. Roseburg Honda should be very pleased that they have such a person representing them! All those we dealt with at Roseburg Honda, (Clint, Adam, receptionist, cashier and the service dept.) have all treated us with a friendship, respect and kindness. I bought a 2017 Honda accord coupe Touring, when I first saw the car I noticed the day time running lights were only half way on, I mention it to the salesman (His name was Casey), he says that it's normal, that the coupe version of the car doesn't have a full led strip drl, only partial. This seemed very odd to me, so I looked it up when I was there and showed Casey a picture of what I was talking about as I had found a picture of the drl's fully on. Casey then talked to his manager, and brought me a picture of another Honda that seemed to be having the same issue, but he was trying to use it to make me believe that that's in fact how there were supposed to be on. I end up buying the car, since I was told by a manager and service that all the lights are fine. So the next week I try to push the issue by going back because I keep getting people telling me that they ARE in fact supposed to be all the way on, as well as to try and get a simple alignment issue fixed that they also refused to service because they saw "no problem" with it and the driver side window needed lubing which they did do. This time, they take a look at the lights again, and AGAIN say there is nothing wrong. So I ended up wasting most of my day off going here since it's an hour and a half from here and they didn't even help me with my issue. I had a group of Honda service people and Casey all telling me that I'm wrong and the lights are fine. So I gave up. I call up arrons body shop at Medford, I tell them about my problem since I was just going to pay for it since they wouldn't help me, they call lithia Honda and get told that it's a known issue, and that Honda knows about it, AND that they extended the warranty for the drl 10 years!!! So I went to lithia Honda and got both of my lights replaced for free, full drl strip and all!!! If I would have had to fix them it would have cost me 800 each for a car i just bought!! Also my alignment fixed elsewhere as well. Would never go here again. I wish I would have gone to lithia Hond...
In early 2021, at the supply and demand reality of pandemic put my large family in a position to finance a car that put us upside down..... like, way upside down. After visiting a few local dealerships, we were beginning to lose hope of getting a new car that would work for us.
Then one Saturday evening, my husband and I met with another local dealer and left feeling defeated... Google said that Honda had closed 15 minutes earlier but we decided to go look anyway. We were creeping on the CRVs when Michael B came over to greet us-
Despite having closed earlier, Michael stayed and treated us as if we were his first customers of the day- we were given a tour of the lot snd even test drove a vehicle before we were invited into the Roseburg Honda office to talk numbers... That's when we met the wizard himself- Aaron Fletcher.
I won't bore you with the details but Aaron worked his magic and was able to get us financed with our own credit union- keeping our business local and with people we already trust. I has so much anxiety over this loan and Aaron (and Cascade Community CU) went above and beyond to make it work.
Due to the weekend timeing and unique request, the entire process was a multi-day event but I was given amazing attention at every visit.
Highlights: • Not only did Michael stay late that first day (Saturday) but he also came back on his day off (Sunday) so we didn't have to reexplain everything to someone else (thank you!!) • On Saturday, they "loaned" me the car to take home for the night to and come back the next day instead of pressuring me to make a fast decision. • Flexible down-payment options helped us spread things out over paydays.
There are a few other wonderful things that Michael, Aaron and the Roseburg Honda Family did to make our family truly feel like part of their family- their kindness and generosity was a blessing, every step of the way.
