Hacienda Vieja — Restaurant in Roseburg

My husband and I took a weekend vacation to go pick peaches for me to can. At the end of the day we we tied and hungry,so Greg googled Mexican restaurants…. Found one that was close by us so we drove there, was just down the road. We were looking for a sit down restaurant and it took us to a food truck. We pulled into a business parking lot to look for another Mexican restaurant and came across this place and it was just a few mins away so we said let’s give this place a try. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and sat at a booth. Before we even got all situated, the chips and salsa were there on our table for us… They brought us the menus, but we both knew what we were hungry for…we looked at the drink menu and Greg wanted to try the passion fruit margarita and I wanted a mojito… they took our drink order and food order at the same time. I would say 10 mins our food & drinks were being brought to us. I ordered taquitos and Greg ordered fajitas. When Greg food was at the table we both said this is how the fajitas would be made/done… the meat and vegetables were sizzling and smelt soooo good … it was the right amount on the platter, it wasn’t over kill with onions on the bottom with some peppers, it looked like a full cut up chicken breast that was cooked perfectly..so many places we have been to, looks like they put a whole cut up onion on the platter to make it look full… to me it’s is a waste of food cuz it just gets tossed in the garbage. My taquitos were PERFECT…. Crunchy outside shell and very tasty… if we lived there in Roseburg this restaurant we be one of our go to...

Went in for Cinco de Mayo with my wife, I ordered combo number 2, the 3 enchiladas meal. I ordered 2 ground beef and 1 cheese enchilada. When it came to the table, I received 3 chicken enchiladas, and after opening all 3, I sent them back for the correct order after he checked the order slip and realized it was wrong. Apparently, the gal seated behind us ordered the 3 chicken, received my plate , and sent hers back. Meanwhile, my wife was halfway done with her meal when mine showed up. When I got mine, it was missing one beef enchilada, in which he said they needed to finish making one more, and he'd bring it out. I saw the cheese one was not melted at all, just full of cold grated cheese. It was disgusting, so I shoved the plate aside and decided I was done. The sick part is I know they took the gals plate behind me and gave me the one beef one she didn't bite into, and made a cheese one for me, as she cut into hers and was wrong, hence the late beef enchilada that showed up in another 5 mins. I told the waiter I'd pay for my mixed drink and my wife's dinner, but said this plate is uncooked and disgusting, and I am not paying for this as I knew it had already been at someone else's table. I'm done with that place. Anyone who serves food that was on another table and touched with other forks should be fired. What other kind of stuff do they...

This place is good. I would say I have ordered 3 times prior to this. And all three times food was, I thought delicious, however, Sunday night, August 31st 2025 I ordered burrito and an enchilada, i was unaware though that the burrito was going to be exactly the same tasting as the enchilada. vice versa. I was expecting a burrito with lettuce, tomato guacamole, sour cream in there. Whatever with my enchilada, on the side and then beans and rice. Anyway, it was, not what I expected.And it was extremely spicy really, my partner ordered, I think the usual, because that's just what she does. And also agreed that it was extra spicy tonight. we cannot handle spice at all, it makes us sick as we both have. Hi, aidle hernias and have to be careful.. It was really hard to understand the gentleman running the cashier, so it made it kind of difficult, but all in all, I would give it a four . service is great. Food is usually really good atmosphere is great. However, that spice , you really have to specify spicy or not. Spicy and not, according to Someone who eats hot spicy everyday. Because that was a bit, or more than a bit hot for me and my girlfriend. Other than that, though,...
