Teresa (not sure of her spelling) who works at the Roseburg location is absolutely rude and completely unprofessional. I went to the store today st 930am and the store opens at 9am. I get up to the door and there is a sign hand written on a piece of paper saying "closed" with no further explanation as to why. I looked to make sure I was there at the correct time, I was, and peep in the window and see all the lights are on with only one employee in sight. I knock on the door and wave to her and ask if she knows when the store will open. She aggressively cuts me off and yells "I don't know, I don't know when we'll be open, the registers aren't working" while waving her hands frantically at the registers. I'm assuming I was not the first to ask as there were multiple people waiting in their cars. I told her that maybe she should put an explanation down as to why they were closed and advise the open time is unknown so people weren't waiting around in hopes it was just a short delay. While I'm offering this opinion to her she again cuts me off yelling "I'm not talking to you anymore, we're closed." Either way, I'm a customer and should be treated with respect. Closed or open. Especially while you're in store. I spoke with corporate and hope she will be educated and trained in better customer service. Read moreHow many people do you need to run the front of the store? I think there were 6 people or so. All chatting amongst themselves and not overly anxious to check the person out. Went to one register and the cashier didn't say anything to us just gave us a stupid look and turned her light off. Not very customer friendly. Our cashier was friendly enough. We were greeted when entering. It really is a hit or miss anymore. The children's clothing section is really lacking. They did have the largest selection of any Ross we have seen so far for your furbabies. We did find a couple of items that we were needing that other Ross stores didn't have. They did have associates on the floor, but none engaged with the employees at all. Not a very customer friendly store...
Read moreTypically I have a fine experience in these stores. I know I'm going to spend time looking for my size in something I like. Usually about an hour spent shopping. Yesterday my Mastercard wouldn't work for whatever reason as I checked out. The checker put my name on my bags and I told her I'd be back. I then also called to make sure they would hold the bags overnight(I live 20 minutes away from the store) I was again assured they would. Next day I come back to pay and I was told they do not hold items overnight. I was not about to spend another hour looking for the items I had picked out the day before.
