I have been coming here since COVID started, I absolutely loved it! The nail techs were amazing the establishment was super clean. One day, i had a manicure & pedicure appointment scheduled with my trusted nail tech, Angelica. Upon arriving, without telling me they sat me down with a random lady that had never done my pedicure before and they said they had overbooked so I was stuck with the new pedicure tech. I was frustrated as I do book all of my appointments weeks in advanced. It bugged me but they had promised it would not happen again. I let it be and moved past it until they did it two more times. At that point I had decided to no longer come back to the salon as I had already said I was unhappy with the work the new pedicure tech was doing on me. As my mom also gets her nails done here (she had the same terrible experience a few times too) My original nail tech, Angelica, convinced me to come back. I came back and everything was great until it wasnât. I was consistently coming for about a year again until today, as this will be the last time I am coming back here. Angelica, unfortunately does not work here anymore and less than a day before my scheduled appointment (that i scheduled A MONTH in advanced) I was called by Tania (another nail tech) saying I would have to either reschedule or not come the following day. She explained the situation and said they had known that my trusted nail tech was no longer going to be working there for about three days before notifying me that my appointment was to be changed. I understand everyone gets busy and emergencies happen so although i was extremely frustrated, i allowed her to reschedule me with an new tech at a completely different time. Fast forward, she had set me up with a tech i have never worked with before and was rushing the tech every five minutes asking when she was going to be done with me. Not only does it put an unnecessary amount of pressure on the nail tech affecting the outcome of my service but also making me feel uncomfortable as I heard the whole conversation. The new tech explained that she was finishing up with me and just had to finish my design to which Tania said âshe wasnât supposed to get a designâ although my appoint meant again was booked a month in advanced and of course had a design. Not to mention, they ONLY accept cash on weekends & never inform you, they just expect for you to pay the ATM fees. I loved Attraction, i referred so many friends here and am so disappointed in the unprofessionalism. I am sure that if they had some new management, this would be amazing again. Save your time, save your money. There are better places out here! I have it a 3 as most of the nail techs are some of the sweetest people I have ever come across....

My last visit here I spent 4 hours in the salon. My pedi took 1 hour. The other 3 my mani. Came in for a soak off and new acrylic. I was told to settle for a fill-in bcz of time. I refused bcz last time I did that, within 48 hrs the acrylic was already lifting off my natural nails at the ends. (Scheduling needs to be better. Business is increasing since when I first started coming here. They dont give manicurists nearly enough time per client). Gina began my soak off, moved me to another chair and said 20 mins. She went to take another client and I sat for over an hour. Back in her chair she asks takes the acrylic off MY NATURAL NAILS. I had grown them out so long, ppl would be shocked they were all mine and not tips. Gina asks if I want to cut I said yes. When manicurists and pedicurists cut your nails, they ALWAYS confirm with you where to cut. Gina did NOT do that and cut off my entire nail! What on Godâs earth would make you think I wanted my entire nail cut off.?! I was so devastated. It took me a minute to come back from the shock. She says sorry and asks what I want to do. I sadly told her to cut the rest down as well. I didnât want tips so that was all I could think to do in the moment.
They are all very nice ppl but that was a big f**k up for me. I can never do my fingernails here again. Pedicures I will continue, those ladies have all been great so far.
Old review 6 months ago: Finding a decent nail salon is hard and this one is excellent. This nail salon has exceeded all my expectations. From customer service to cleanliness to organization. Exceptional. Every employee is kind and welcoming. The manager explains everything to you and will check-in during your appointment to make sure you are satisfied. All the employees are well qualified to do nails, Iâve never left unsatisfied.
Tips: make an appointment well in advance, they are booked and busy.
BRING CASH. The card machine has been down for a while. There is a $1.50 fee ATM available inside the salon if you forget...
Read moreI have been to this place a couple of times. The first couple of times, I had a great experience. Recently, I booked an appointment for my sister. She wanted black acrylic nails, and this was her first time here, she is also only 17. Tania asked her if she wanted to be able to change the color of her nails or keep it solid black. My sister said she wanted just solid black nails, to which Tania used black acrylic powder. My sister didnât know it was going cost extra to use the different color acrylic powder as opposed to the black gel nail polish. My sister also had to keep asking her to make the length shorter (this is important for later).
When I asked about the price disparity (when I booked it, it was $50 but now it was $72), they IMMEDIATELY got defensive and told us that my sister should have asked about it being more. How was she supposed to know that one thing was going to cost more than the other? Tania did not say using the black powder would cost more. Tania also said that it costed extra for the length my sister âchoseâ.
I was calmly explaining to the owner that my sister didnât know we would be charged more for this, especially the way Tania worded it to her. He was extremely rude and told me not to tell him how to run his business. I was trying to speak to him as objectively as I could about this and he kept getting emotional about it.
Both the owner and Tania kept saying that for the length and black acrylic powder, the price was going to be more. My sisterâs nails were barely longer than mine. I was trying to figure out how to resolve this, so I asked if we could file the nails down shorter so that there wouldnât be such a price disparity. To this, he got very upset and said âwhat? Do you think weâre going to give you your money back?â
Overall, this was very sneaky and both Tania and the owner knew what they were doing. He gave me $10 back after I paid the $72 (I wish I didnât pay them at all). After I paid them, the owner continued to gaslight us into thinking we were wrong and said things such as âthere, you got money out of usâ and ânow the next time you come back, now you...
