The splash pad is so fun! My kids especially liked the part with the series of channels for the water to flow in, with gates to open and close at various intersections to make the water follow different paths. The covered pavilion right next to it is a great place for moms to watch their kiddos without getting burnt to a crisp. Lots of picnic tables in the pavilion, so plenty of room for everyone. Nearby is an outdoor stage, a trail & a wood-chip playground. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the splash pad and playground are so far apart that if you have multiple children to watch, you have to keep them all at one instead of them being able to go back and forth between the two, like they can at the Kelley Park splash pad in Apple Valley. Oh, looks likes there's a reservable building...

Read moreI have lived here 25 years and the last time I was on this trail was perhaps 20 years ago. I am so surprised at the beautification of the area and the amazing work that has been done to make this short loop and inviting and quiet place. Lots of metal benches, especially on the west side of the trail; A few bodies of water; a Memorial Trail for our veterans….. I am definitely coming back to walk with my friends and to take in a bit of nature...
