Pellicci Ace Hardware — Local services in Rosemount

After several visits over the past few years, I often leave without finding what I need. There are a lot of products carried here, but a lot of them are novelties that you would never make a trip to the hardware store for, rather items you buy while you're there and they catch your eye. It's too bad that more "hardware" related items aren't sold here, because I'd much rather support local business. The staff is very friendly, but there seems to be a lack of cross-training across the store. Multiple times I have been waiting in a long line while only one register is open, with several associates standing around. It would be nice to see that other register open, so a trip to this store can be a quick one as it should be. Same goes for pens in the hardware aisle- it takes me more time to find a pen to write down my items in that aisle than it does to find the items.

It'd also be nice to not get pestered to buy Andersen windows every time I am there on the weekends, it gets old very fast. Again, nothing wrong with any of the sales people for Andersen,...

So excited to always support local town stores but I am finding it harder than i thought. Service stellar but for the times I have been in (and hoping a fluke but keeps happening) they did not have needed items in stock. Most recently out of basic furnace filter 16x20x1. Expecting more in 3 days. Needed a toliet part -they could order it. needed single pane window and screen repaired. Was told “perhaps” guy would be in midweek.was told try Rosemount Glass. I went to directly to Apple Valley Ace.

Service and repair if I waited in the spot. Have not run into stuff not in stock ever, at AV location. But I so value local will but on time crunch situations less likely to go a Rosemount first. The former Rosemount hardware seemed to have better gauge of perhaps the ages of houses (from old to new builds) and never ran out of basic hardware fittings or filters etc. one reason we ALWAYS frequented it. Just saying... I hope the “P” hardware family reads...

Pellicci's is my favorite place to shop for all my hardware needs. They have the most friendly and helpful staff I have ever dealt with at a hardware store. Every time I come in I am greeted with a smile and asked if I need help finding anything. The store is clean and organized and the employees are willing to do extra work to get you what you need. I have placed special orders through them with no trouble at all, and the item came in four days sooner than expected. I have also asked them for a snow shovel in July (mine had broken last winter and i didn't want to be caught without one) and the employee went into the back and brought me out the one I had requested.
