Love the food of course. Missed it after all this time. Service was great. No complaints about either of those things. My only issue was if you want to eat this amazing, wonderful, delicious food, plan on taking it home. The place is just too small to sit in and eat, especially on a weekend evening. We ate there and it was just cramped. We had people standing right next to our table waiting for their food so when they called my name to get my food I couldn’t even get up because this woman was blocking me in. I had to say excuse me 3 times before she would move so I could stand. Then when trying to throw away my plate at the end, the plates are bigger than the trash can hole and they are plastic so they don’t bend easily. I was trying to get them into the hole but it wasn’t folding and the place was so crowded, I was afraid I was going to start flinging little pieces of leftover rice all over people. So that was a little frustrating. Because there’s also a line of people standing next to you waiting to order and it’s just awkward.. maybe you guys can get a different trash can or different plates? I don’t know maybe it was just me. And then the people sitting at the table right in front of the drink cooler completely blocked it on so we couldn’t even stand in front of it, we had to kind of go in from the side.. just too crowded. I would say downsize the tables in there.

Overall, food is amazing as usual. I will be back of course. I’ve been a loyal customer forever. Been coming to Beirut restaurant since I was 8 years old and I don’t plan on stopping. I just know that I’ll be ordering ahead and taking home. Which is fine. I love you guys and wish you nothing but all...

Disappointed by the Owner’s Behavior

Earlier today, I visited this restaurant to meet some friends who were planning to dine in. I had already eaten, so I just brought in a fresh Starbucks (across the street) to sip on while catching up with them. My friends were ordering food from the restaurant, and I was simply there to socialize—not take up space without supporting the business.

Unfortunately, before we could even get settled, the owner came over to the counter and very loudly yelled, ā€œNO OUTSIDE FOOD!ā€ - completely unprovoked and in front of everyone. The tone was aggressive, and the outburst was embarrassing and unnecessary. Not only that, but a woman - who seemed to be related to the owner - came over and questioned us, asking if we were even ordering. Why would anyone be there if they were not ordering from the restaurant.

I understand enforcing a policy, (even though it's not posted), but there's a respectful and professional way to do it. This was not it. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who values a welcoming and courteous...

Oh my, goodness! What a fantastic experience in every aspect. First, the customer service was outstanding. I felt at home. I grew up in WSP and frequented the restaurant there. I was hopeful the taste would be the same or similar....and it was absolutely fantastic. The rice pilaf was flawless. It couldn't have better texture or flavor. When I first opened the box I thought 'I won't eat that much rice' . Was i wrong! I couldn't stop eating it. The chicken was perfectly cooked. Nice char on the outside while tender and flavoral on the inside. The veggies were SO fresh and perfectly grilled. John, the owner was just a gem and a real pleasure to talk to. I love feeling the love he has for making good food for good people. I have a feeling I'm going to be there quite a lot!! I highly recommend this place for a great-tasting meal made with good ingredients. Job well-done. SO glad you're...

My favorite Lebanese takeaway. I used to love their restaurant in West Saint Paul, and I now drive the extra 20 minutes to Rosemount simply because I love the food so much. And the Khoury Family. This is a 41-year old family-owned business. Today I chose the beef-lamb kofta plate, while my daughter opted for the Habibi shawarma wrap. We also grabbed the 3-piece baklava and Shaiybiyet, my favorite Lebanese dessert. Alas, we were so hungry, we wolfed down all the food before I could click photos. But hey, here’s a picture of me with my friend John Khoury.

The long awaited return of Beruit in their new location in Rosemount was so worth the wait. This family-owned restaurant was a staple in West St Paul for years and has come to Rosemount with a new menu with many of their favorites. I love small family owned businesses and this one delivers big time Lebanese cuisine. My first visit was for lunch on day two and I got the Hummus bowl with Falafel, homemade pickles and Lebanese bread or what I call it, the perfect lunch. Service was quick, food was delicious, and I hope this business thrives in this town!!!

First time having Beirut after their move out of West St. Paul. The taste has changed. Not sure if they dialed the flavors down a bit for the gringo palettes here in the south Metro. The falafel wrap was good but was lacking enough garlic paste to give it that extra zing. The hummus was flavorless with about half a cup of oil in the bottom of the container. The bread resembled bread made at a commercial bakery minus the label of the bakery on the bag. Served up cold. The quality for the price is lacking as you will see in the photos.
