Don't eat here. It's probably a good place to watch a game or drink a beer but my food experience was a joke. Loaded waffle fries are kinda my thing if I'm eating at a bar so I was excited to see them on the appetizer menu described as: topped with melted cheddar jack cheese, bacon bits, topped with chives and served with seasoned sour cream. What can go wrong with that? And for $10.95 they must be amazing, right? Granite City charges $11.25 and theirs are amazing. Celts? Ummmm, no. I received a basket of under-cooked waffle fries about 1.5 layers deep with a tiny bit of melted cheese on top and maybe a 1/4 of a piece of chopped up bacon on top. A complete joke for $10.95.

Although I have never been here, I would like to say that this is an amazing place! I suffered a brain aneurysm in October and one of the employees Maggie organized an ugly Christmas Sweater Party for my family to help us with Christmas. I don’t think anyone could be any kinder to people they have never met, so I’d like to say a tremendous Thank you to the staff and patrons for doing that! Also, a gigantic thank you to Maggie for organizing the whole party and thinking of our family. You are a truly kind and beautiful person for doing this!

Service was attentive, but they don't take their job very seriously, just average bartenders. Avoid the food, it's just not very good. Across the USA, a burger is the standard for measuring a pub-kitchen's quality, and Celts failed to deliver, imo. Source a better bun and learn to toast it properly. Obnoxiously smothering the burger with what tasted like sweet/sour teriyaki BBQ sauce just made a ridiculous mess and overpowered everything... where's your celtic/irish flavors? Was there even bacon on it? Thin frozen patties from Costco won't cut it for a $16 price tag, it's insulting... A good cook would demand to make burgers from fresh ground. I'll go somewhere else and see if they can do better. Maybe the cook and owners read these reviews and strive to fix things? I'll never know as I won't be wasting my time and money here again. ...
