I just had the craziest experience at this Culvers. It was my first time through the drive-thru. When I was deciding what I wanted, I asked the order-taker if they sold their custard by the pint. She said they did, and said they were running a special for 4 / $10 or something like that. I decided to just get a burger and fries. I paid and took my little number pulled forward to wait. I really didn't have a frame of reference for how long it should take. There were a couple cars in front of me and gradually a couple behind me. Finally I was the front car, and figured my order would be next. When the guy came out, it was actually for the car behind me. I didn't think much of it. I waited a few more minutes and was starting to think this was a little excessive when he came out with my order. He took my numbered card, handed me my order, and said sorry about the wait. It was pitch-dark and raining, so I took my bags and drove home, without looking in them, but thought they were a little heavy. When I got home, I discovered that in addition to my order, they included 1 pint of frozen custard. I couldn't believe. Did they give me one by accident? Or was that their way of making up for the wait, and giving me one of the items I had inquired about when placing my order? If it's the later, then that has to be the most insanely good customer service I've ever experienced! Well played, Culvers, well played. You just earned a...
Read moreOn Saturday August 6th my wife and I brought our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter to this restaurant. As we sat down we noticed four or five teens dribbling a basketball, swearing and disrupting the workers. We also noticed one worker, named Noah, who was supplying them with free ice cream. Finally when they left a huge mess at one booth and moved to another, one of the workers asked them if they’d pick up their mess. They started swearing at her. That’s when I found a manager who kicked them out. Noah, the worker supplying them with free food started getting mouthy with me. When my wife asked for his name he said “Why you going to tell my mother?!!” I found another manager who said he’d “have a conversation with him” and we left. I contacted Culver’s customer service and filed a complaint requesting a phone call. Nothing yet after 8 days. This isn’t the first time customers have had to deal with rowdy groups of kids in this store. Management needs to limit the group size without an adult. Until then they’ve lost another...
Read moreReally bad experience today. Very long wait just to order in the drive through. Long wait to see have anyone to come up to the window so I could pay. Meanwhile there's a guy going out to cars with a bag food and obviously doesn't know who the food belongs to. When the cashier takes my payment and hands me my food, she sniffs the shake I ordered to make sure it was the right one. Weird. Cashier forgot my drink. No big deal, just let her know. Thought I better check my bag on the way out. Realize they didn't add the kids fry to my order. Go back inside the store and wait another 5 minutes to order a kids fry from the cashier. After paying, realize the $2.35 seems high for a kids fry and realize that's the same price as the regular fry. Ask the cashier if kids fry cost the same as regular fries? She tells me they don't actually sell kids fries. I would have to order a kids meal to get kids fries. Wow! Why not tell Mr in the first place when. I ordered?? And I've still be waiting 10 minutes so far (and counting) to...
