West House Tavern & Nightclub — Restaurant in Roseville

Over priced, tacky bar. None of the decore matches. Rough pool table. Terribly uncomfortable patio seating(plastic lawn chairs & cheap, flimsy, side tables). Tiny bathroom stalls. No food. Only tiny $3 bags of chips. On top of the $4-5 card fee.. I always properly tip(sometimes 20+%) and round up to a solid dollar amount when paying with my card. Every Time there is a random amount charged to my account that is more than I wrote on my reciept(I Always keep the "customer copy" and write my total). I don't trust the younger staff. I honestly believe they're all druggies. So many pot heads and (obvious)dealers and users hanging around, creating an uncomfortable and unsafe atmosphere. Unprofessional bartenders pick and choose who to serve and make you wait until they're ready. Over pouring drinks(probably to make up for the terrible service). I see the owners making improvements but this place is still very rough around the edges. Very few customers(probably regulars) are nice and welcoming. I hope this place improves, I usually hear good things from people who visit often.

Fair warning: always have cash on hand.(even the ATM fee is up there). Surcharge fee applies everytime you close your tab...

I dont know how I have lived in this area this long and just now discovered this hidden jem. Honestly I've lived in Roseville for 7 years and never knew it even existed. I stumbled onto this place tonight on my Google maps and went in solely because of the owners responses to Google reviews. I've worked in customer service my whole career and it drives me crazy that businesses usually coddle these out of line people that give ridiculous reviews. I loved the fact that they stand up for themselves (as they should) so I took the trip over and had an amazing time. I met several bartenders working and several other employees off clock and I cannot say enough good things about this place in general and the whole staff. I went here for my birthday a month ago and I had a lot of fun. Jimmy was friendly. I went last Saturday for my friends birthday and Ross was very unfriendly and rude. He was also drinking and taking shots. He over served a lady and then cut her off because she wanted a high five and yes she did overreact. He was man handling her and when my two lady friends went to get him off of her he stuck his thumb in one of the girls eye trying to blind her and then he put his hand on another girls throat and was strangling her. The cops came but couldn't help because the bartender lied of course. I can't believe this establishment would allow a bartender to serve people while intoxicated expecially when his judgment is crucial. This wouldn't have happened if...
