Hello all, ill try and keep this as concise as possible so that you get the information you need without a bunch of complaining, but the way we were treated has left my family and I with a long list of grievances.
We joined villa a year and a half ago, and all was well. Our first issues arrived during the early months of the pandemic. We went through the proper process to pause/freeze our account, and the Club still charged us for the months we were supposed to be paused... once we brought it to their attention, they took MONTHS to refund us.
Our second grievance came when we tried to sign our second son up on our account. We turned in the paperwork and they turned around and lost it. We asked daily about the status and for some reason they couldn't seem to fix their issue. It took two to three weeks to get our son signed up. We basically did not have access to the club during that time because the staff would not admit him into child care even though we turned in our paper work and were members for months at this point.
Thirdly, the child care staff were great, but poorly managed. They were ALWAYS understaffed, which meant our infant was always held while the staff member holding him had to be with the toddlers to make sure they had the correct ratio of staff to children. This led to an overtired exhausted infant because he wasn't getting the attention he needed.
Fourthly, the club staff were hypervigilant with their mask policy. It did not matter if you were vaccinated or healthy, they simply would not allow you to be a responsible adult. If you took your mask off for a few minutes to catch your breath, they were on you like a hawk.
Finally, the last straw came when we canceled our account. By this time, the above mentioned reasons had pushed us away. We ended our account in early June, and received an email confirmation of the 30 day cancelation process. We planned out our final week there, down to the final day of membership. Except the club had different plans. Without notifying my wife or I, either by phone or email, they canceled the account three days early and prorated the account. When we tried to sign in that morning, we were only notified then. We spoke with the manager working, and he informed us that "sometimes they choose random people and cancel their accounts early"......... im not sure how to tell you how disgusting of an answer that is. Some people?! We pleaded with him to find some work around, because we were standing there with our two young sons, packed and ready to go. The manager said there was nothing he could (would) do to fix it.
All in all, the continual mismanagement of this club, combined with the horrible customer service we experienced on a wide array of issues, has completely pushed my family and I away from this club. I have told everyone I know of our terrible experience so they won't have to subject themselves to the same treatment. I hope you have found this review helpful, as it the first one I've ever taken the time to complete.
This company has not prorated us for the days that they canceled us early. We are now considering civil litigation in order to force this terrible company...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis sports complex is not as good as advertised. The pools are dirty and cold. Last year, in two months, I had to leave 7 times (someone pooped in the pool and the pool was closed.) The jacuzzi often doesn't work, the water is cold. In the family changing room, the handles are torn off and the locks haven't worked for a year, they were only recently installed. The showers are dirty. I brought my children to childcare and no one ever measured their temperature. I saw how they send children there with coughs and runny noses and no one monitors it. I brought my baby when he was 2 months old and exactly 24 hours after childcare his temperature rose, he was the only one in the family to get sick. In four years here, I have seen a lot, but somehow I turned a blind eye to all this because I don't have far to go and it seemed convenient. But over the last month at the pool, lifeguards have made a remark to me many times about my youngest daughter, that she can't be in the pool without me (because she's wearing a life jacket, so it's dangerous?!! Can she drown in a life jacket???? Okay! I agree! I have a small child of 4 months, so I can't be in the pool near my daughter all the time and keep him in the sun all the time and sit with him under an umbrella and watch my children! I control everything and see, sometimes I go to them by the water. But over the last month, lifeguards have been harassing me every time I've been at the pool, they've come and made a remark. Either she's crying, or she's swimming in the wrong place, or she's jumping, etc. I've always had to leave for home. And there are children in the pool without parents and without a life jacket and no one is watching them, so that means it's normal, but my child is more independent and active, so he needs to be touched. Are you serious? Are you more worried and watching my child than I am? Don't make me laugh me! last year there was such a situation in the pool there are witnesses, a boy of about 3 years old was drowning in front of the lifeguard and he did not even move! my friend and I grabbed this child from the water then his little one ran up. everything worked out so the safety here is so-so. I have never had problems with my children at the pool, I always looked after them, I always cleaned up after myself and the children, I treated everyone around me in this complex with respect. I paid a lot of money here, the service here is not worth it. over these four years, about 8-10 of my friends and acquaintances have joined this complex on my recommendation. I regret this!. I am disappointed with the attitude of the person...
