I came with a brand new Rolex for a bracelet adjustment. Andrew (the technician) did it. They were nice enough not to charge me and the SAs were friendly that day, but the technician removed too many links, wasting my time and resources to return to the store to re-install the link.
Before driving there I called and spoke to Jay (SA), who said he could reinstall it. I immediately went, but the vibe was different. Security was a bit rude, but nothing compared to this SA. At other Rolex boutiques, associates greet me, check the fit, and handle the watch with care before adjusting. This SA rushed me to take the watch off without even seating me or checking the fit. I said, "I think I want one link back to the watch." Instead, he removed the Easylink extension, mocking me as if I knew nothing about Rolex. I then said, "Can you put one extra link on the tightest setting?"
He rushed to the backroom; I could hear the noise and was concerned about my Daytona being damaged. He returned without changing the pin setting. When I said it was too loose, he replied condescendingly, "You know if I do that it won’t change anything, right???" — which was wrong, as adding a link and moving to the tightest setting still adds space. He finally did what I asked, but I didn’t try it on as he seemed eager to get me out. Fingerprints were all over my watch, and before I could say anything he rushed to the door to kick me out without saying one word. This is not only the worst SA I ever dealt with but just as bad as a human.
I have typically had negative experiences at this location; once an SA tried to trick me to burn money on tons of other brands just to get a Yachtmaster or Submariner, so I only come for adjustments. This was another level of unprofessionalism. They are a Rolex AD, and should service Rolexes with the same respect and professionalism as other ADs. I am writing this so everyone can avoid giving this SA any business as he doesn’t deserve to be in this industry and will treat everyone like a piece of trash.
(8/30/25 update): CS has contacted me with apologies and courtesy follow-ups, and the sales manager has also reached out about rebuilding the relationship, even offering a very nice model that unfortunately was not on my list. While I appreciate the gesture, I haven’t had any actual business with the store since then, so this update is only meant to acknowledge...
Read moreI visited Hing Wa Lee Jewelers Walnut store and would like to share my review. On mother's day eve, I had the opportunity to purchase a Rolex as a present for my father-in-law at this store. I learned about this place through a friend's recommendation while I was using another store in LA. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the excellent service provided by the security guards at the front door. They were reliable and ensured a smooth experience.
What stood out to me was the exceptional level of service I received when buying the watch. The staff went above and beyond by personally escorting me to my car after the purchase. This attention to detail made the entire process feel special.
I want to express my sincere gratitude to Agnes Kim, who played a significant role in my delightful experience. She patiently introduced me to various watch brands, providing detailed explanations for each one. Her knowledge and kindness were truly commendable. Thanks to her, I had a pleasant and informative day.
I am already planning my next visit to this store, as I intend to buy a watch as a graduation gift for my children. I have full confidence that the exceptional service and expertise of the staff will make it another memorable experience. I look forward to returning soon.

Read moreI Stopped by Hing Wa Lee Jewelers recently, curious to see what Rolex/Tudor watches were in the showroom. After being welcomed in, I was met by Agnes. I explained to her that I was interested in looking at the Rolex/Tudor lines. She promptly showed me display Rolexes, and allowed me to try them on. We then went to look at the Tudors, and the Blue Pelagos 42 mm caught my eye. I wasn’t really looking to buy a watch that day, so I thanked Agnes for her time, and told her I would think things over, and get back to her. She was understanding, and didn’t make me feel like I had just wasted her time. I left with both the Rolex and Tudor product line books. A few days later, I called Agnes and told her I was interested in the Pelagos. She offered to hold one for me until Tuesday (my day off from work). I made an appointment to see her Tuesday afternoon. I purchased the watch, and was in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Agnes went over operation, cleaning, and functions of the watch. I thanked her, and I was on my way. I was happy with the whole process, and I would recommend Hing Wa Lee and Agnes. In fact, I have already referred friends and family over to them for all their watch...
