I've been a member of the Land Park gym since it originally opened in September 2023. Since then, there's been a dramatic decline in the gym's cleanliness. Often, it's exceptionally dirty. It raises health concerns and frankly is not hygienic i.e., I put my gym bag on the floor yesterday and had to wipe it off before I left because someone else's ball of hair and dust was stuck to the bottom. The water filter needs to be changed, and some of the seat pads are ripped. It’s apparent the floors have not been vacuumed or mopped for quite some time. Also, the equipment is covered in human hair and dust. I was excited about having a gym in my neighborhood, especially a brand-new one. Given the price we pay as members, I expect a higher level of care from the staff. I used to go to Planet Fitness, multiple locations, all of which were much cleaner than this City Sports location. It's both disappointing and embarrassing. Honestly, if I had visited the gym for the first time for a 'tour', which I see very often while I'm working out, I would have walked right out and wouldn't think twice about not joining and certainly wouldn't give you my money. It appears that the staff is solely responsible for sales and no attention is being paid to the maintenance of the facility. This is stated on your website. I recommend the facility lives up to these standards. "We are willing to train people who are passionate about keeping our facilities beautifully maintained. Our janitorial staff is the backbone of the "Club Pride" everyone shares for the facility."

Don't come City Sports Gym Crocker if you have cancer and need Legal Medical Cannabis to help you through your workouts. My family member is ill barley can move around was kick out the gym for medicating in his vehicle before there workout. A City Sport employee came into the parking lot banged on the vehicles window shouting that Medicating in the parking lot is not allowed and procieded to be rude and uneducated about the benefits of Cannabis and workouts especially for someone who has cancer. Family member was embarrassed and felt employee wasbout of line when employee had his membership canceled over a plant! NO One should ever support a gym like this this that has no compassion for Cancer Patients!

Man, where do I even start? I was visiting a friend in Sacramento and needed a gym to get a workout in. I saw this City Sports nearby and decided to give it a try — and honestly, it’s by far the best one I’ve been to. The space is large, super clean, and has a top-notch recovery station that I haven’t seen at any of their other locations. It really feels like an all-in-one experience. The only thing missing is a sauna, but the recovery area definitely makes up for it. If I lived in the area, this would easily be my go-to gym. I’m even considering driving up from the Bay once in a while just to get a session in, lol.

I am very disappointed with this gym and particularly the manager, David. All I wanted was to change the number of days that I was paying for personal training sessions. I was told by the young man at the front desk that I would have to schedule an appointment with the manager in person. I informed the young man that I was busy and didn't have time to meet with the manager, and could he please tell the manager to make the change. He said he would do this. That was about 4 months ago. Yesterday I decided to check and confirm that this change was done and discovered that it was not. City Sports had not made the requested change and continued billing me for two sesssions per week when I requested it be reduced to one. Again, I was told that I would have to meet with the manager, David. Again, I protested and requested that the change be made without setting up a meeting with David. The club insisted, so I worked it into my schedule today to meet David at 10 am. When I arrived, I was told that David was busy with an unscheduled walk in. I explained that I had a 10 am appointment and that it was currently 10 am. The young man at the front desk asked me to wait. I waited for about 15 minutes before I informed the young man that I was taking time off of work to meet with David for a meeting they were insisting upon and that I did not want. I finally left and called the front desk as soon as I walked out their doors. I was then placed on hold for 60 minutes before David picked up the phone. After providing me with several excuses for the club's shortcomings, he tells me that he will switch me back to one day, (Why wasn't this done over the phone in the first place). Additionally, David informed me that he and the club were "Sorry" but that he would not be refunding or crediting my membership. Instead, they apparently think it's fine to treat clients so poorly. I am looking...

DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to be LIED to, DISRESPECTED, and STOLEN from.

I tried using their so-called "free" 3day trial. Not only did I not recieve the trial in my email, after going into the gym. You HAVE to speak to a representative and listen to their whole spiel before they activate your trial. Tommy, the rep who "helped" me, not only asked invasive questions that I made clear I was not comfortable answering, but he also interrupted MULTIPLE peoples workouts when trying to show me the facility, including getting on a machine that someone else was using! He didn't even bother to wipe down the machines he used. He only finished his whole talk when I reluctantly signed up for a month. He said he would start my trial and if I wanted to cancel before the month started, I could and I wouldn't be charged. A blatant LIE.

They ONLY care about your money. I tried canceling my membership THREE times, and each time was told it would be sent over to a manager to review and cancel. I called to cancel and they say you can't cancel over the phone, you HAVE to go in person to cancel. I went in person and they said the manager wasn't in but they would let him know first thing in the mornin to cancel my membership and I would get a cancelation email. (They also STILL hadn't activated my trial period despite me having already spoken to someone at a desk). They even said they'd leave a note on my account so I wouldn't get charged, just in case. Another LIE. 3 days pass and there is nothing in my email, so I call AGAIN. They say the manager hasn't gotten to it but I will get an email by end of day. Today I wake up with an email welcoming me to the gym and a 100 charge on my account. THEY WILL STRAIGHT UP STEAL FROM YOU AND WON'T LET YOU CANCEL.

Also pretty funny how the owner ONLY responds to those 5 star reviews. I would LOVE a response from the owner on this one, but you wont...
