Chip Cookies — Restaurant in Sacramento

I'm thrilled to have a gourmet cookie shop in Sacramento! Insomnia Cookies (never like them) can step aside for Chip Cookies! The location is great at Crocker Village with plenty of parking. The shop is simple and clean with a modern vibe. It reminds me of walking into a high-end boutique.

It was our first time here, so naturally, we had to try everything! We got the Chip Flip Box with 4 cookies (your selection). They are all phenomenal, high-quality, and with layers of texture in each bite. If I had to pick my favorite, it would have to be the Biscoff chip. I love white chocolate and cookie butter.

SW Chip - Stuffed with rich semi-sweet chocolate wafers + topped with maldon sea salt.

Muddy Buddy Chip (Flavor of the Week) - peanut butter chip cookie with a milk chocolate center and topped with muddy buddies + dusted with powdered sugar.

OG - Your original chocolate chip cookie but gourmet!

My son got the Chipzookie, which is like a full-size dessert in a bowl. You select a cookie and any toppings you like sprinkled on top of a scoop of vanilla ice cream. They only have vanilla ice cream for now. I'm not sure if they will add more flavors.

If you’re from Sacramento and you know Ginger Elizabeth then you’ll know what a compliment this is- this place in the Ginger Elizabeth of cookies. Guy here said crumbl was modeled after Chip. But these cookies are significantly better- my head nearly exploded. Here’s where I think crumbl went right and why they’re more popular: I don’t think chip’s extras are necessary at all. The simplicity of crumbl is all that is needed. These cookies speak for themselves. Also, if you google “Chip” or even “Chip cookies”, a million generic results pop up before this place. Chip cookies are legitimately the better cookies- by a long shot, and while I hate to compare businesses, they look and feel in branding so much like crumbl that when I walked in I thought they were the ones to copy crumbl. But the reality is, these cookies far exceed anything I’ve ever experienced in a cookie and I consider myself a cookie...

I can’t say enough good things about Chip Cookie! This place takes cookies to a whole new level with an amazing variety of options. From classic flavors like chocolate chip and sugar cookie to unique creation like s'mores, there’s something for everyone.

What really sets them apart is the ability to customize your cookies with a wide selection of toppings. I loved being able to mix and match my favorite ingredients to create the perfect treat. The staff was super friendly and helpful in guiding me through the customization process.

The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to hang out and enjoy your creations. I’ll definitely be coming back for more — this place is a cookie lover’s paradise!...
