I don;t eat burgers often, I prefer crispy chicken but my son wanted to go here so.... we ordereed cheeseburgers.I asked the girl at the till if that included fries she said 'nu-uh' and my eyes went to the menu board - I was already in for $20 and I just wasnt gonna spend another $3 for fries and another $3 for a drink, so I left it at that - the kid had a drink and I grumbled off to sit at a table. Burgers were good - but they weren't $10 good - you get as good at Carls Jr, except for the same price you get fries and a drink. The bun and construction of the burger ruined the meal. I ordered their regular bacon cheeseburger with everything, which is a two-patty burger. When I opened it, I could see that it would take some careful eating to keep it together. Between the size of the fillings and the supermarket-shelf style bun, it fell apart on the second bite. The ingredients seem pretty decent, but I couldn't evaluate it as a burger because I was too busy focusing on how I could hold and bite to not end up with an $11 pile of burger parts in my lap. Five guys is always a good place for a good burger. The standard is a double cheeseburger your choice of toppings with fried onions instead or raw a little burger is offered as well it's a single patty . The double is at least a 2/3 pounder. The big deal there though is the fries. fresh never frozen and large amounts a large will easily feed 3 hungry guys and left overs. A freebie is the roasted and salted peanuts as much as you want just fill up a container from the box as you wait for the burgers. The shakes are good and thick and the soda's are unlimited. The only thing to remember is your burgers are wrapped in foil the fries in a paper holder and all come in a paper bag. no trays here. Value...
