Nice location near Crocker Art Museum, with plenty of shade and open area. Would be a good place for a picnic. There is a decent amount of street/metered parking surrounding the park, making it a good place to park and visit other areas of downtown/old Sacramento. Be careful though, we saw several homeless individuals camped out later in the afternoon. Not that this makes the area dangerous, but it is something to keep in mind. Just be aware of your...
