I really want this business to survive because the pizza is really good…they have an amazing crust. My biggest issue is with the service staff. With the exception of the owner Frankie (who is AMAZING), there is a serious lack of customer service here. I’ve been here about 6 times now and every single time the staff is neither friendly nor helpful. On my last pizza pickup the staff just handed me my pizza then immediately walked to the back. When I tried to get their attention for some Parmesan and red pepper flakes to go, no one was around to help me even after waiting for about 3 minutes so I just left. On my way out I noticed about 3 tables with guests and about 7 or 8 dirty tables that had not been cleaned yet. There was just a huge disconnect between the young staff and customers. It’s the combination of good food and customer service that keeps a business thriving. When one of those falters the business is doomed. Please, please try and get this point across to the staff! I will continue to come back…for now hoping things...
Read more**First time coming here. I’m from Vegas, visiting family who recommended this spot. At first I was frustrated because no one came to the table, and I felt like I was waiting forever—then I realized the young guy working was literally the only employee in the whole place. He was cleaning, cooking, bartending, and running around like crazy.
I ordered a draft beer, and when I went to reorder, I asked for bottles instead just to make it easier. He noticed and said, “Didn’t you order draft?” I told him bottles would be faster, and he insisted, “Don’t worry, I’ll pour you drafts.” He might not have had a ton of experience, but he was honest, polite, and working his tail off. At one point he even apologized, saying, “I know I should be faster.”
That kid killed it in there. I honestly don’t know how a place that big only had one employee, but he handled it like a champ. Hope you enjoyed your tip, kid—thanks for the...
Read moreSo impressed with this place. Came to visit Sacramento for the Thanksgiving holiday. We called from our hotel, attempting to find some pizza place that was open. Assuming we would strike out, Frankie's answered. He said "we aren't doing delivery today, but actually, we'll deliver to you." An hour later, the owner and his wife showed up at our hotel room with a piping-hot, DELICIOUS, pizza. Not to mention, Frankie's WASN'T EVEN OPEN! He said that they were stopping by the shop, the phone rang, and they decided to make the order and deliver it to us. Talk about customer service! As fellow restaurant owners, we are always so critical of how customers are treated, so this made a huge impression on us. The pizza was fabulous to boot! We will definitely be back next time we are in the area, And would recommend to anyone and everyone. Better than anything we...
