This place is great, with a lot of resources for women in need. Its a 'day shelter' where you can sit indoors in the heat/ac, charge your phone, get cool water, or use the bathroom. They have a limited amount of spots for using the showers every weekday, so get there early. They serve breakfast every weekday morning until 9am. You can use this as a mailing address and use their phone or get messages. Once a week you can get toiletries like pads, socks, underwear, shampoob tooth paste and other stuff depending on the donations available. You can also get a small amount of diapers, wipes, baby food and formula. Sometimes they even have clothes and camping gear, but again it depends on the donations available. You can also get stamps, I believe its 1 per week. Quiet places to sit and sleep during the day. Its a small space, but theres a play ground outside for kids, and Mustard Seed school for all grades. Loaves & Fishes next door serves lunch every day of the week 11a-1pm, has mens showers and laundry, and has lockers to store stuff in, as well as hosting sac self help housing starting at 9am...

I feel more encouraged about this L&F program who do more than just provide showers, a safety net, a warm temporary day shelter and hygiene kits. The love, smiles, positive mentoring and the gift of friendship and a sense of "belonging or acceptance". Thank you all for being there for me. With...
