A living safety and health risk. The sheets are yellow, the carpet is unpleasant to walk on, there's cockroaches in the bathroom (and probably elsewhere!), the shower faucet is broken, THERE'S BLOODSTAINS ON THE BOX SPRINGS... The window has no screens OR lock. There's no one to assist at night (at 10pm!), the elevators must be only on when there's someone in the office? The surrounding area is sketchy; I was accosted by a number of indigents. I learned a lesson, always do extensive research on hotels. Don't skimp because you're cheap. Someone died here.

If I could leave negative stars, I would leave 5 of them. I showed up to my rooms to find roaches and the biggest bed bugs ive ever seen. After telling the person, he gave me keys to a room that wasn’t prepared yet. Inside the second room there were a used condom on the counter, used wet wipes all over the floor and beer cans. In the end, they refused to give me a refund so I can find another place.

My first night into a two night stay. Our first room had some problems but after we spoke to the manager we were moved to a better room and given a discount for our second night stay, so here we are. Update coming 😀After a beautiful night sleep in a nice and clean room I was very happy to say I would love to stay here again 👍🏾

Where to begin... where to begin?

This building is located in downtown Sac in a grittier part of downtown. It is on a main one-way street where cars frequently speed. The building itself is 3 levels where the first level seems to be reserved for monthly/weekly tenants...not your usual hotel/motel guests. For a building with three floors there are only ten (I counted them) parking spots. Street parking is possible but it's not desirable. The room itself was functional but just. The linens were clean but the room definitely had a marijuana odour. The bathroom fan was noisy and would occasionally make an ungodly shrieking sound as if bearings were starting to seize. The TV was missing its remote but it had a DISH remote. We tried turning it off first by throwing hoodie over it and then physically unplugging it. I think we got one of the better rooms because as we were bringing our things up, there was someone else outside the office window asking about their room's heater not working, fortunately for us, our heater worked.

What makes the experience all the more unpalatable was the rather high rate we paid for such low quality room. That's not their fault... sometimes you DO NOT get what you paid for.

However, the custodian and the hotel clerk were helpful and accommodating as best...

The people that use to run this property were very good , nice , Young couple. But the people that run it now..... This guy Tony, extorts money out of people. He told me when I checked in that he was charging a $30 deposit to my card, but without my consent and knowledge he charged a $40 charge for a deposit. Then the next morning when my husband went to check us out, Tony tells my husband he was keeping $20 for a previous stay from months and months ago prior. His reason why he was keeping $20 was because someone supposedly complained that the room smelled like smoke. WELL NOT BECAUSE OF US. Why didn't he say that on the day we checked out? Better yet, the hotel is old and EVERY ROOM THERE SMELLS LIKE SMOKE. THE ROOMS ARE DIRTY THERE ARE ROACHES AND BED BUGS, AND NOT WORTH THE MONEY HE CHARGES PER NIGHT TO STAY THERE.. THIS GUY TONY IS RUDE AND A THIEF. HE WILL BE LUCKY IF I DON'T PRESS CHARGES AGAINST HIM FOR...

A basic, no frills hotel but very conveniently located near downtown Sacramento. Check-in was through a secure glass window (security concerns?), but the lady was courteous and nice.. I got a 3rd floor king room, so had to walk up. Room had just been cleaned as I thanked the lady leaving, as I entered the room had strong odor of floral spray, bathroom and room was relatively clean. I did notice some stains on the wall & ceiling (looked like phlegm and blood), so was kinda disgusted and cleaned it up myself. The room furniture was falling apart; drawers falling off rails, very old! Microwave was missing the plate, TV too small! Basically, you get what you pay for but adequate for just me attending a rock festival!!! Better than staying in a shared...
