Update to below

Within an hour or two after the review, the store called me to schedule a delivery of the item. So clearly the item was in their warehouse and someone really dropped the ball on fulfilling the order. Would have been nice, by way of apology, they gave me a small discount like one months payment off to restore my trust, but that's ok. I'll shop again at RC Willey. In fact, I was there yesterday. But for now I'm still not buying anything that isn't in stock to avoid this problem again.

I have been shopping at RC Willey, for about 20 years and have an account with them for at least 15 years. In the past, I've absolutely loved the store and customer service until now. I bought a washer machine on October 5th, and was told it would take 2 weeks to get the washer pedestal for the unit from the manufacturer. One month later, I have not heard from RC Willey. I contacted the sales rep to ask for a status update. The rep replied back and said he will inquire with the manufacturer then get back to me. A week later, I still have not heard from the sales rep. Very disappointed. I could have purchased the same product from Lowes and had it delivered already because it was in stock. I chose to purchase it from RC Willey because they said it would only take two weeks to get the product from the manufacturer and RC Willey was so great in the past it would be worth the wait. Thats definitely in the past. I will not be loyal to RC Willey in the future. In the future, if I shop here at all, I will not buy products that are not available in their warehouse at the time of purchase. Clearly it's impossible to get answers or timely delivery of purchased products from this store. I work too hard for my money, and things are too expensive to not even get a response on when I can expect an item I purchase. It's...

This was my first time in the store. I was greeted when I walked in and while wandering through its vastness, several salespeople asked if I needed anything but NEVER in a pushy way (I didn't get cornered nor was I afraid to make eye contact), each treated me with respect and kindness. When I told Ken Fraser that I was looking for a smaller size couch, he directed me to an area that fitted my needs. He explained the layout, how pieces were priced, and suggested a nearby space to explore as well. I never felt hounded or rushed, and he left me to browse at my own pace. I was able to really shop without any pressure and felt comfortable asking Ken questions. The store is immaculate, has more variety than anywhere else I know, and was so light and inviting I might just move in! Once I had narrowed down my choices, I asked Ken even more questions and he respectfully answered even the silly ones! Ken explained the delivery process in detail, escorted me to the cashier area and payment was a simple process. As I was leaving the store I spoke to the greeter for a few minutes; she was a joy to talk to as well. The atmosphere, the friendly (and NOT PUSHY) staff, and the huge selection of inventory has made RC Willey MY furniture store for life. My sincere thanks to Ken for paying close attention to what I needed, directing me to a number of choices, for listening to me, making sure I was comfortable spending as much time as I needed to decide what I wanted, and making the entire process a pleasure. His subtle approach, clear desire to want to assist, his kindness and professionalism fully changed my opinion of how a salesperson...

My wife and I were at rc Willey on Saturday 11/9/24. We were kinda of in the market for a fridge. We went into the clearance center and just looking around found one that would suit our needs. While in the clearance center looking at said fridge the sales man comes up and says I can give you 10% off the price if you want this unit. So my and I spoke and decided it was worth talking numbers with the sales man. we all three started looking closer at the fridge. He pointed out dents and dings. No problem for me it’s a fridge. Then he points out there was a missing door bin. And said more than once we can order it or find one in another fridge. “Or if it doesn’t bother you I can just give you the cost off of the fridge “ I said yeah let’s see if you have one then we can talk. He proceeded to look in inventory and tell us I don’t have one in stock. Then he proceeded to look the price up. I said no big deal you don’t have to order it just give us the amount off ($70+ for a door bin ). So I pressed him to keep to his word and he kept saying the 10% off is compensation enough. I disagreed because he said 10% before discovering the missing bin. So to wrap this up it left a very bad taste in my mouth how he was trying to back out of a promise he made. We did get the additional money off but I fought to get it. I won’t be back to buy from him or rc Willey again. If you can’t stand behind your promises I dont want to do business...

After a very un-pleasant experience with ordering a couch on-line a person at another furniture store mentioned RC Willey had a velvet couch. I had never been to any RC Willey store but headed in there. I am not a fan of any place that has sales people as it makes me feel un-comfortable feel like someone is pressuring me to buy. Fortunatly I had the good fortune of running into Jett! He was the most delightful knowledgeable person and we just chatted about furniture. I was smitten but their blue velvet couch. The purchase was so easy! Especially compared to my on-line couch fail. I felt like I was in the hands of people that had my best interest in mind. It was an easy delivery and the couch was beautiful. After a while we realized that the couch was just too small for us. I called Jett and he exchanged it no problem with no extra fees! And it was past the exchange date! Again I was blown away by the extra ordinary customer service I received from this store and my personal furniture guy Jett! We LOVE our funky new orange velvet couch! Great quality and again the above and beyond customer service. We will be back! A tiny ps...we do need to have a long talk about your stuffed bears? Super not cool for us big time animal lovers. A big turn off in the year 2019!

Monogram is good with inventories in warehouses and the oven arrive to RC before I was quoted. Sadly not prior to Turkey Day, but our oven survived. Seamless so far, but now the tough part.....installation, the dreaded install. As mentioned, I grew up with someone in the industry, my mom. She worked at a first class appliance store in suburb of Chicago by the name of ABT, very famous. She was the lead buyer, knowledgable and passionate. Luckily or not so, momma was in town for the install. She asked are they going to do this, that, the other, train you.... All followed by ABT would!!! Well Momma Sue said the install was good as ABT's. A little bit about Momma, her first; second and third thoughts as constantly negative. Not this time, RC Willey, Rob Guditus, Monogram, and JP Appliance Installers all win! All the best, Shawn and Teresa PS: Any Palmaz Wine Lovers here?

UPDATE: I originally posted this: If I could give this Zero stars I would! I ordered a $2,000 bed set that arrived dirty and damaged. I called to explain and they sent someone to clean the fabric. They were very nice from this contracted cleaning company but it did not get everything out and they only cleaned the fabric. The rest of the items were covered in black marks from the delivery company moving this white bed set. I don’t think I should be cleaning a $2,000 bed set that’s brand new. Then I called to see what they could do and the customer service representative named Christina was such a rude, condescending person and it just seemed that this company does not care about customer satisfaction! I should have listened to these reviews! Don’t buy from here. They do not care about your satisfaction. UPDATE: My husband went into the office and was able to speak with a manager. The manager was very nice and cared. He took care of us and really wanted to make sure we left happy. I am very happy with the furniture and how the manager in the office handled this issue.

UPDATE: I originally posted this: If I could give this Zero stars I would! I ordered a $2,000 bed set that arrived dirty and damaged. I called to explain and they sent someone to clean the fabric. They were very nice from this contracted cleaning company but it did not get everything out and they only cleaned the fabric. The rest of the items were covered in black marks from the delivery company moving this white bed set. I don’t think I should be cleaning a $2,000 bed set that’s brand new.
