This is a new restaurant in the Delta Shores shopping center. The interior is very pleasant but like most new restaurants there are no acoustics so when it's busy it is very noisy. It's obvious they need to fine tune the management of people arriving, waiting and being seated. It was 2 full hours between our arrival (at 6 pm) and the food being presented to us. It wasn't a wait staff issue. When we arrived we were told it would be a half hour and she didn't take our name and told us she would come and get us. In issuing expectations for seating it didn't seem they allowed for several tables of 6-8 people and how long they would be seated, hence the long delays. The food is good. Our table of 4 included 3 chili relleno, 2 enchiladas and a quesadilla. The refried beans were the best I've ever eaten but they were stingy with the cheese in the small chilies and the rice on all our plates was cold. The salsa was a hit. I might return but not during a weekend...
Read moreTucked away in the back of the Delta Shores Shopping Center, this unassuming Mexican restaurant offers solid value for your money. On our visit, I ordered the quesabirria taco and chicken flautas, while my dining partner went with a chicken taco and chicken enchiladas.
The quesabirria taco and enchiladas were the clear standouts—flavorful, well-prepared, and satisfying. Unfortunately, the same couldn’t be said for the chicken taco and flautas. The chicken was noticeably dry and lacked seasoning, which took away from the overall experience.
On the side, the rice had a nice tomato-based flavor, and the refried beans were a decent complement. The spacious seating was a plus—it felt relaxed and not overcrowded, which made for a comfortable dining experience.
While not every dish hit the mark, I’d definitely return to explore more of the menu and try their drink selection. This spot has potential, and I’m curious to see what else they...
Read moreMy Family and I have been to this restaurant a number of times in Lodi, and it’s a Family favorite! I was excited for the Sacramento location because it’s close to where I live. Unfortunately the service and food quality is not the same. We were at the end of our meal when we noticed there was a long hair in my Grandfathers coffee, he had already had two cups! I brought it to the attention of the server and he and the waitress were apologetic however no type of compensation was offered so I asked for a discount. The waitress got a huge attitude and said that they could only credit the coffee since he drank two cups. Yeah, two cups with hair in it! She also said they don’t know how that hair got in there, and it felt like she was implying that WE had put the hair there, which is absurd. Extremely disappointing! I’ll be sure to share this experience with my Family in Lodi as well as the rest of the Family here...
