It’s appalling to know that this is a Marriott affiliated hotel. The room was decent and the bed is very comfortable, but the carpet definitely needs a deep cleaning. They should stop advertising that they provide breakfast. The breakfast is a bagel and cream cheese or a biscuit sandwich, yogurt and coffee. The entrance is barely noticeable. There’s no awning in case you have to check in during inclement weather. Parking is atrocious and was the worst part of my stay. There are minimal parking spots near the entrance of the property. All other parking is a around the corner and a far distance away. When I checked in, I was told that I could park at the Fairfield Inn which is adjacent to the property. I verified this at the front desk the next morning because it didn’t sound right. The person at the front desk said that’s not correct and the person that told me that was in training. People were constantly loitering around the entrance doors and patio smoking marijuana. It seems like there’s only one luggage cart. It was not available when I checked in so Maya had to get a laundry cart. I never saw the luggage rack during my 3-night stay. My floor was filthy, so at 8:30, I asked the person at front desk to have someone vacuum the room while I was gone. She wrote it down and said she’d get someone on it. I returned to the room at 5:30pm to discover the floor hadn’t been cleaned. I went to the front desk and talked to Rita. She asked me who I informed about the floor in the morning. I told her that I didn’t know the ladyā€˜s name and she should know who works the front desk. Rita told me that they only do that type of cleaning on Monday and Wednesday and that there was nobody to do it and it will get done tomorrow morning. There was loud music coming from cars in the parking lot late at night. Chelsea checked me out. She was very polite and professional.

This is the worst Marriott property I have ever stayed in, anywhere in the United States. I travel a lot for work, always try to stay at Marriott properties. This place is the most dilapidated, outdated place I have been. The parking situation is horrible. There are no real restaurants within walking. The rooms smell like urine and / or Marijuana. People smoking weed in cars and driving off because that's a great idea. Smoking weed at the pool. I have yet to take anything but a cold shower because the shower never gets hot. There is rust everywhere, blood stains and other stains on the carpets. The icemaker is a bucket with no bag that has never been cleaned. One ice machine in the gym. The layout of the hotel is ridiculous, you can't find entrance for check in and there is no where to park to check in. I have stayed in roadside motels that are 50 years old that are nicer. I had to clean the gunk out of bath drain with a coffee stirrer just to get shower to drain before I ever got in. Whoever does maintenance clearly doesn't care. The TV is 27 inches and mounted in a corner where it can't even turn to face the bed. They have Walmart power strips screwed to desk. 1 star is generous, very generous. Breakfast is cold by 6:30 and coffee is gone. Dogs barking in rooms all night. The internet goes off an on.

I wish I can give a no star. This hotel should not rated under Marriott. Dirty dirty dirty. I have to change two rooms for the stay and it just never can be appreciated with the price I paid. Wondering if I can get my money back. There are old towels in the closet. There are human hairs on the bed sheet. Make sure you open the blanket to check. There are bugs 🐜. I mean it. Bugs. I wish this review would love me to post video as well. Because I took a video and that bug are running around on my bed like it’s in my yard. Whoever rated this more than two star! I bet you got paid to do so. This is not a Marriott rated hotel. It’s more like a super 8 or motel 6. I mean those are even better some point. Besides the lamp by my bed. This room only have these ā€œfancy light ā€œ (pls see pic) I had to use my phone flashlight to find the outlet to charge my device. I just can’t express my feelings right now. Do not book this if you are Marriott member. Trust me on this. Period.

My message to General manager Evelyn Fernandez and the cooperate 247 hotels management. Does your security officer incharge. 02/08/21 5am.compliance with national guard card license or have any proof of guard security training. A security officer if employed at your organization he needs to provide i.d card and uniform. Must be worn.security signs displayed on his uniform. Also a security officer is present to protect guests and staff. Yesterday your front desk very smartly and without any fear. Despite the security officer was present. He walked on his own legs together accompany a men looks like a stranger. But later he described his was a security. While my motion was already leaving the drop off employees parking spot. As a drove my car atleast 20feet from where your front desk was shouting and cursing me calling homeless. And insulting word's. Both the front and security walking together side by side approach me for wat reasons when the law says .a security officer incharge should stop the front desk not to move out of front door.for his safety reasons. If he really felt threatened or harassment. Security officer needs to stop front desk leaving his counter without fear later making excuses he was threatened .if he makes false allegations on me.he should consider in first place why did he left front desk and coming out without no fear to challenge when security officer is unprofessional not properly trained. I would say I was sacred when this 2 monkeys coming out running after my car like street kids. Shouting. But to cut it short I left the scene without creating more issues when nothing to deal with them. Reason I left I thought security officer is stranger who's attacking on me through guidance of front desk namely Kris. Later he threatened me over phone it's a felony charge and acted as an law enforcement officer..my message to General manager pliz check your employees proper license and training when situations nothing to deal with them and late declar that I'm a life threatening to them..stop counting number of times and location my business which you have no evidence of official report was filed. You stop counting. You pay attention to lack of unprofessionalism staff you employ at your sector that needs to be decpline those inferences in my business and marriage and personal life there are majority of staff against my character which discrimination under harassment. Your front desk Kris commented that I sleep in car I'm a homeless and later you complain I'm a life threatening. General manager she her self not trained like last time she commented on me I can be locked in jail for 8yrs.wow.are you judge of court.pay attention to your staff employed without proper training not holding licenses. Guest should aware townplace Marriott cal expo.the breakfast attended does not compliance food handler certificates. And her partner also involved in food distribution which he is not a registered employee. Townplace management should be ensure that safety of food and distribution done to guests should follow federal food handler regulations especially this COVD19 situation. Sacramento County should be aware of current conditions and regulations townplace General manager...

Worst Hotel Stay EVER!!! I stayed here for three days after a fire caused my husband and I to evacuate our home. At first, we were relieved to have a roof over our heads and a kitchenette so that we could have some sense of home during our search for a new apartment. We had our room serviced once on our second day and we noticed some of our food missing. We didn't think anything of it because we both work different schedules and thought that maybe the other person had a bite to eat. The following day I had started getting ready for work and noticed that some personal items had gone "missing". I was furious to say the least. I notified the front desk of the incident immediately. They said that they would relay the message to the General Manger and investigate the incident. I called my husband to inform him of the situation. It was extremely upsetting that a housekeeper would take items from our room after losing so much to the fire. It didn't matter that what they took was small and replaceable, but the fact that it was done. My husband and I had already lost so much and to think that someone would steal from us after that was appalling. My husband had spoken to the "Manager" after he got off of work. The staff then spent hours in their back room to discuss the situation privately. Basically they asked the housekeeper if they had taken anything, and of course it was denied. What thief would admit to taking something? When I got off work my husband and I went back to the front desk to discuss the next steps after the incident with the manager. She said that the housekeeper would not be fired since they have no proof and the General Manager would have to look into the incident further to evaluate if the housekeeper(s) deserved to be reprimanded. At this time the manager asked us if we would like rewards points to stay a couple days at any Marriott Hotel because of the "inconvenience". I said no. Of course not. I felt violated and didn't feel that what little I had left would be safe in their, or any of their properties, hotel rooms. Why would I want to stay longer with this company after what had happened? She had no sense of customer care whatsoever. This was just a paycheck for her and you could see it in her service. We decided to cancel our reservations and check out the following morning. Bright and early the following day we received our charges SLIPPED UNDER THE DOOR OF OUR ROOM and noticed that they charged us a HIGHER rate for the day of the incident. I can understand charging us a higher rate during the weekends, but during the middle of the week...REALLY?! Then they had the nerve to tack on a tourism tax in THE CITY I ALREADY LIVE IN!!! I have never been in a situation where I had items STOLEN from me at ANY other hotel stay, and I've stayed at many hotels in the last 10 years, including ones in foreign countries!!! We still haven't heard a word from the "General Manager" Erica Hernandez. This is very disappointing and if you care about your things don't stay here. If I could give less than zero in...

Tldr This hotel is an abomination.

It was supposed to be a relaxing weekend, but my head is still throbbing from the memory.

There was some event and the hotel was sold out, so no hope of changing rooms. I was placed in an awful room by the stairs and elevator. Children were running up and down the stairs and yelling at all hours. The gap under the door was so large any hope of quiet was lost. Doors slammed at all hours. The complaints fell on deaf ears. Unsupervised children seems like a serious issue to me, but I guess not for this place. I had to wear ear plugs, run the a/c constantly, and turn on the microwave exhaust fan, as well as sleep on the couch to get away from the noise. The room was shaking from the constant running. Idk what some of the other sounds even were. This place is awful, and this is coming from someone who usually sleeps near a busy railroad.

"Renovated" lmao, no. Bathroom door was broken, actually got locked inside.... Mold. Grimy. Filthy. Dust. Everything. 0 cleaning between guests. Tiny sink, tiny counter. They should probably mount the paper towel roll, it is a fire hazard.

The location. Just know what you are getting into. There is nothing nearby. The bus is not even close. Finding the front of the hotel itself was a task arriving at night.

About the a/c, the thermostat did not work properly. It is an outdated system that can't automatically switch between heating and cooling, fan option not available. Turned it on and it was stuck. Nice view of the parking lot, so the filthy curtains stayed closed. The lights in the room did not work and/or were expired leds, so it was very dark. It became a game to guess if the desk lamp would turn on or not. Don't bring any long dresses or coats, as there is nowhere to hang them. The closet is full of useless wire drawers. The sofa bed...well, it was quieter than the bed, but if you intend to use it, there was no extra bedding provided and there is a solid lump down the middle where it folds. It's more like to cots placed together than a bed.

This is the worst Marriott breakfast I have ever seen. It was just bread and those awful fake eggs. Not sure what the meat was, as it was unlabeled. Dietary restrictions, what are those? The breakfast staff were pleasant, but even they complained about the poor design of the breakfast area. I honestly think not offering breakfast would be better, it is a shame. I just wanted fruit or something.

Didn't bother checking out the gym or laundry, too many unsupervised children running in the halls (and into me), so I retreated and went for a walk. Made sure to grab groceries while I was out. Decided to Uber back to the hotel, there are always a lot of homeless in the area (like all of Cali), but I never take risks in the evening.

Writing this after writing how awful MGM was is making me rethink my other review. Gave the tip I would normally leave for staff to the dasher who brought me ibuprofen....
