Overall the trolley was great. First day was perfect with Cajun as the beach bus driver. However the 2nd day the beach bus driver Jersey passed us up, even though we waved her down & were at the correct spot (Mango Mangos) for the A street stop 10 minutes early. I guess you have to stand in the road for Jersey to see you. We called & they sent a shuttle. But it still put us more than 30 minutes late into our planned activities. The rest of the day was great. But then Jersey was still the driver to take us back. She asked if we were going to a hotel, we said A street. Then she said your the ones & my husband said " Yes were the ones you drove by. She said I didn't see you, but she did not apologize. She also didnt say anything else & dropped us off on the opposite side of Mango Mangos so we had to cross the street. Took a star off due to Jersey....

The employees on the trolley were very sweet. Ed was so cute. He use to be on Ghost TV. The midnight ghost tour was nice. I would have liked to have been more spooked. The jail was the best part. I did not think it was worth $53 for 2 people. The wax museum was dark and curtains were pulled so we could not see anything. The old drug store had alot of old memorabilia. I was able to capture shooting white streaks in a video and i saw one at back door of the jail would have liked to tour the entire facility in the light. I cannot post the video. :( Couldn't take pictures on the ride bc the trolley didn't stop or slow down enough. I think a midnight horse and buggy ride around the beautiful scenic lil town with wine and chocolate tasting tour would be a great...

We went with the 2-day ticket, really only needed the one as most everything is walkable. But I do recommend taking the route at least twice as there is often a little different information presented by each driver. The drivers are very knowledgeable about the history and share many great facts, but there is only so much they can share during each segment. My big recommendation is to bring rain gear, especially if you are riding in the afternoon during the summer. They do hand out rain ponchos but they don't cover pants. The only reason for the 4 instead of a 5 is I wish they would put the roll up rain shields like you see on the ghost tours. Yes it would make getting on and off harder but many people wouldn't get off...

If you want to see the sites and learn a lot of history in St. Augustine then I highly recommend doing the trolley tour. The drivers know a lot of history in the area and make the tour a lot of fun. We hoped on and off and visited several place around St. Augustine. If you stay on the trolley and don’t get off the whole trip around town is about an hour and forty minutes or so. We did a round first and then hopped off at the places we wanted to see.

To be honest, it was a disappointment. And based on some of the other reviews here, it's probably entirely based on your trolley driver. Ours spoke about 3 sentences the entire ride, mostly pointing out the obvious. We took the Night of Lights tour and spend $70 for my family of 4 as part of a larger group. The tour was about 20 minutes and lack luster. Unless you have a physical reason to ride, I'd recommend just walking to see the lights.
