I am totally in awe! I had to do this review because the removal of my first 2 wisdom teeth, by an orthodontist, felt like they were dug out with melon spoons. Dr. Won removed the remaining 2 wisdom teeth for me yesterday. One of them was like a bad ex and just did not want to let go. It made him work hard for his money. This man is the most gentle dentist I have ever encountered. I don't know what kind of dentistry magic powder he sprinkles, but he sprinkled it both on my husband and myself. He is so nice and personable. He is genuinely a human who knows how to human. Antoinette ( I hope I got her name right) is absolutely the bees' knees, too. She had me at ease before I hit the chair. She has her people skills honed and in proper working order! My husband had to go to an orthodontist for a root canal and he feels like the side of his mouth was hit by a truck while I feel like I could eat a bag of popcorn, I won't but I feel like I could. He can't wait to get back to Dr. Won today. If you like that Little Shop of Horrors dentistry style, then this place isn't for you. However, if you want to feel almost like you had no dental work 24 hrs after you did, this...
Read moreI think this area is beautiful and I love all the restaurants and shops. I work in the office buildings and go to my favorite coffee shop, Picassos, every morning. The reason for the 3 star review is the PARKING GARAGE. This comes as a WARNING for anyone parking there. There is something that drips from the ceiling of the garage and is CAUSING DAMAGE to the hoods of cars. It’s some sort of corrosive substance that leaves a white residue but eats at the paint/clear coat on the cars. I’ve had 2 cars in the last 3 years and this has happened to both of them from parking here. This is particularly an issue for me as an employee of the area because the garage is the only place for all day parking, everywhere else is only 90 minute. I took a 5 minute lap around one floor of the garage today and took all these pictures. Something needs to be done...
Read moreSt. Charles seems like a great place, and I will definitely be back to check out more of Beale Street, maybe have some Brazilian food, visit the AMC theater, and check out the historical areas. Parking was rather limited--we ate at Dewey's but parked down by AMC--but it was lovely walking through the streets, enjoying the Christmas decorations. I even noticed a car with plates indicating they were disabled who couldn't find a spot and parked a block away like us. This was on a Monday night, the week before Christmas, so it's surely not as busy as they get. Just wanted to point that out. Still, we had a great stay at the Best Western Plus The Charles (odd name) and a fantastic meal at Dewey's. Thanks for having us,...
