They cracked my large mirror closet door while moving in a couch a month ago. I had to initiate action from them after a week of no word from them when I decided to come in person and get furniture to replace that couch (which wasn't happening). The plan they came up with was to take the entire mirror and get it fixed and then bring it back. Initially the manager guy said "We'll get it fixed for ya in a couple days" YEA OK It's been a month and I've had to call twice for updates. When I called two weeks ago they said it should be ready on labor day week, like Tuesday. When I called on Friday (3 days after Tuesday) the guy on the phone "couldn't find a manager". Mumbled another week or something. It's not management's job to move in furniture, so I understand it's not their fault the mirror cracked. But it is management's job to take responsibility and fix their company's mistakes. Not only is this repair taking forever, but I have to reach out and get my own updates on it - they can play this procrastination game for months or even indefinitely if they so choose. Let's see how long this repair takes! To be continued!
UPDATE: It finally got replaced 2 months after they initially cracked the original mirror. I had to pull some teeth and call back. And when they came to install the new mirror, they were missing a roller out of 4 and so I had to wait another week and a half for them to get the 4th roller from a hardware store. This is an errand that anyone could have executed in 2 hours. Way...

I told him my budget was $2500 and needed with in a week if possible. After trying a lot if beds I found one that I liked when it came to bedroom he said no king or california-king in stock and showed me 8 to choose from on his display tv. He stated everything else on website would take 4 to 6 weeks. After being told 2 were out of stock I choose another one. He showed me price at 2700 I again stated my budget. He said they didn't negotiate anymore since they moved due to overhead so I would have to up my budget. I said no and than got up to leave. After I left I called financing they stated I could go to Else's House of sleep right down the road. So I did on Sunday wow what a surprised the took time to educate me and showed me many options under my budget and in my time frame. So I would suggest avoid the over priced Furniture barn and go down the street for a better deal and first class service. My set arrived today and was set up and I have to do was...
Read moreI have been shopping at this store for over 20 years, long before the move. I have never been treated so disrespectfully as we were yesterday. We have always bought our furniture from Furniture Barn. We had our old living room set disposed of and were walking in to purchase a new set. Upon walking in to the store we were not greeted which never normal. We couldn't find prices on a couple of sets and was expecting some help. A gentleman approached and my husband asked did he work there. He replied "No I've been waiting for help myself they're usually all over you." I myself no that much to be true. They are usually very helpful. 35 minutes after being in the store 1 of the 2 behind the counter finally walked over. My husband stated that we have been waiting for some help for over 30 minutes. This somehow offended said employee and the man turned around and walked back to the counter. My husband then told him fine we'll spend our money somewhere else. This same employee told us fine by me and directed us to Elsa's down the street. I may not be shopping at Elsa's but I will no longer be shopping at Furniture Barn again. The gentlemen we usually deal with are Josiah and I believe Tom. Wish they were...
