Michaels Is A Very Good Place To Shop. I Needed To Buy A Necklace To Attach Some Of My Jewelry That Went Around My Neck. The Cashier Who Was Also The Supervisor Or Maybe The Night Manager Was So Professional That She Attached The Jewelry To The Necklace And Put The Necklace Around My Neck. I Was Expecting More Of A Charge Because The Package Had The Necklaces And Not Just One Necklace But It Only Cost Me $5.95¢ Plus Tax Ans If I Am Not Mistaken It Came To $6.12¢. She Asked If I Had An Awards Card And I Said That I Didn't Remember If I Had One Or Not So She Asked For My Phone Number And Low And Behold She Said I Did So Maybe This Is Why When I Was Expecting The Charge To Be $6.99¢ It Was Only $5.95¢ Plus The 7% Sales Tax. Last Time I Bought A Necklace It Wouldn't Go Over My Head And Since The Lobster Claw Is So Small It Was Very Difficult For Me To Unattach And Reattach So I Wanted A Finished Necklace That The Finished Necklace Would Go Over My Head. She Did See One Chain Put On Backwards So She Might Have Not Charged Me So Much As It Was Listed. I Really Wanted One And Not Three But The One Wouldn't Go Over My Head So I Bought The Package With Three Chains Instead. I Asked Her If The Sold Headphones And She Suggested I Go To Best Buy. I Told Her That I Went There But The Cheepest Was $69.00¢ And That I Told Them That I Don't Have A Lot Of Money Like Trump Has And I Left Best Buy. She Then Suggested That I Try Five Guys In The Tyrone Mall But When I Went They Were Closed So I Found My Headphones At Walmart For Only $9.95¢ Which Was Very Inexpensive And Works Just As Nice As The Expensive Ones! If You Are Looking For A Place To Shop Then I Suggest You Try Them. They Are Very Caring And...
Read moreToday, I witnessed the most unprofessional thing that I've ever seen involving the store manager Ty. From what I gathered a customer and an employee had an exchange before I entered the store, but rather than deescalate the situation Ty followed the first customer out to the parking lot adding fuel to the fire. Then yelling his name and the Michael's customer service phone number at her. Then when I was checking out another lady whp had nothing to do with the original situation mentioned to the cashier how she thought he was extremely unprofessional. Ty then proceeded to attack the second lady and kept repeating the same thing as before, his name and the phone number. The female customer said okay, maybe I will call since you just keep on. Then, the most shocking part of the entire thing happened. Ty walks over to the lady and accuses her of having a problem with gay people. The female customer hadn't done anything to deserve that. Maybe the original situation was none of her business and she could have kept her opinion to herself but where does the store manager Ty get off accusing her of having a problem with gay people. That came completely from left field as I witnessed most of this exchange. In my business we would call this a training opportunity for Ty. Customers say all kinds of interesting things, as management it's your responsibility to ALWAYS maintain your cool and deescalate. This gentleman completely lost his cool and decided to...
Read moreReturning customer to this location. Do NOT order online and pick up at this location. I ordered online and was picking up in store After waiting in a long register line, I was told to go to the pick up location and the cashier said she would help me soon. I was the last person in the register line when I was told to wait. No one else was in line. No one helped me but new customers got in line and were being helped. Then the register line got long, and they called for backup. More workers came to work the registers. After 25 to 30 minutes of no one helping me (this in addition to the time I spent waiting in the register line), the line died down, the backup cashiers left and hurried right past me without helping. I pushed the pick up button and the cashier who told me she would help me soon orginally rolled her eyes at me. I finally saw an employee I called over and it took less than a minute to...
