United Grocers — Local services in Salem

Used to go here all the time and then moved over to the West side so it was less convenient so stopped going. Recently made a trip to get a large amount of meat for making our dogs food and was pleasantly surprised. The store is under new ownership and has been redone inside. I really like the new layout and the ease of finding things in the store. If you need bulk items at great prices with no membership hassles, this is your store. Just keep in mind that it is more tailored to the restaurant industry rather than the retail individual. You will not find things like toilet paper, paper towels, ect.....

This store is horrible and smells like wet dogs and customer service is horrendous like really bad like my daughter was crying because she couldn’t breathe and they had tried to rip me off the it was sale it had said 11 dollars and when I was checking it had said 14.99 absolutely not acceptable at all.and the cashier was cracky and was mad when I called the price out I hope this store shuts down or at the least put Febreze the price oh don’t even get me started on the price before any calls a Karen how adout you go to this...

This is my favorite place to shop, well it was until it went public. I've been shopping here since we, restaurant owners, had to either pay with company check or cash, so sometime in the 80's. Since it has opened to the public they are MUCH more busy, which is definitely good for them, since the public sees the great prices and buys all the products!! Staff is very helpful and friendly.
