Clubhouse on South Temple — Attraction in Salt Lake City

I want to express our sincerest gratitude for the wonderful experience we had hosting our daughter's wedding reception at The Clubhouse on South Temple last May. Our journey from the initial planning stages through execution and clean-up was truly remarkable, thanks to Jude and her dedicated team.

From the very beginning, Jude and her partner were incredibly responsive and accommodating. They listened to our concerns, especially regarding the initial cleanliness of the venue. Jude even gently corrected me on the pronunciation of "hors d'oeuvres" when I was intentionally mispronouncing it as a joke. LOL!

It's true that the space is utilized for various community events throughout the week, which made us initially hesitant. However, Jude assured us that the venue would be immaculate for our special day, and she absolutely delivered on her promise. She even let us use the venue's fabulous marquee and signage stands, which made a big difference for the event.

On the day of the reception, we were thrilled to find the venue in spotless condition, with everything meticulously organized. Jude and her team worked their magic, ensuring that the lighting, space heaters, and ambiance were perfect for our celebration. It truly looked enchanting. Everyone commented that it was a great place to host a wedding reception.

While The Clubhouse on South Temple is a unique and charming venue for a wedding reception, it's worth noting that a fresh coat of paint and a little sprucing up could enhance its overall appeal. However, this minor aspect in no way overshadowed the overall positive experience we had.

Jude's exceptional dedication to making everything run smoothly was evident at every step of the process. She went above and beyond to ensure that our event was flawless. Even after the celebration had ended, the day-after organization of our belongings for pickup was a thoughtful touch that we greatly appreciated.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend The Clubhouse on South Temple and working with Jude to anyone seeking a special and unique venue for their event. This is a fabulous venue, no doubt, but what makes it even more unique and awesome is the owner. Choosing a venue is important, but I think equally important is the people you rent it from, the way they choose to operate their business, and the way they treat their customers. David is an absolute pleasure to work with, is super responsive in his communication, and I believe treats people they way he would want to be treated. He is also a true artist himself, so he understands the creative processes of the artists he works with, and has made Clubhouse something special where creativity can truly unfold and become something more, something truly special and inspiring! It was like this from the first phone call to the last text message. And this is why I said at the beginning that there is more to choosing a venue than just the way it looks. What really counts for me is working with people who get it, who treat people well, and who you know you can count on. David was really what pushed me over the edge and is the real reason I took the time out of my Sunday afternoon to write this review. I hope you have the same...

I LOVED this event from its beautiful esthetics to the inspiring music. What I didn’t like is that I paid extra to sit in the front section but when I arrived to the event, seating was general admission. The event staff was aware this had happen and basically told 2/3 of their guest to contact Fever for a refund. Let me say that again, 2/3 of their guests were overcharged. As much as I would like to return I probably won’t because I don’t do business with companies who make it difficult to get a refund. If I were that host and cared about honoring the value of the purchase, I would have immediately contacted Fever to refund those paying guests. It appears to me the venue is hoping those people don’t call, making the venue more money than advertised… which happens to be illegal.

Again, I had a great time. I just don’t want to pay more than everyone else then invest time trying to figuring out how to get a refund. I didn’t screw up, don’t punish me with extra work after I paid. YOU do the legwork to...
