Get Nails Salon — Attraction in Salt Lake City

I've been twice, I won't be back again. I booked ahead with Bill, the salon was empty, he passed me over to a female. She asked me how much to trim nails down, I told her as much as they grew. My left hand was trimmed appropriately, my right nails are so short, I look like a nail biter.

She shredded my cuticles, my nails are so thick, the polish is terrible, like, the polish itself wasn't even applied well. I told her I wanted straight on the sides, NOT tapered at all, not like the coffin look. My right hand is rounded, like the nails are ROUND, cut crooked, way slanting and tapered. She kept filing and filing, and I finally asked her to just stop, my nails are so short they hurt. I am going to have to take these off, get a full set, just to get the length and filing right. Square is anything but round.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I came to this salon for Gel X nails, and the experience was incredibly disappointing. The technician did not properly fit the extensions to my natural nails, which are quite flat. Instead, he used highly arched tips, applied an excessive amount of glue, and forced them to lay flat—causing the glue to spill over onto my cuticles, which resulted in a burning sensation. The glue, combined with the UV light, made several of my nails feel like they were on fire. And causing extreme pain and tightness later that night. Got dip nails done here and was the worst manicure of my entire life. The lady doing my nails got the dip all over my skin, making it a painful process for her to file and separate my nails from the skin. The man then took over and tried to fix her horrible job, this was painful as well and my nails got filed down to nubs. I left with my nails in pain, uneven, and messy. He tried to clean up the mess after I did not leave a tip. Will never go here again and I do not recommend getting a dip manicure here. Maybe they are better at other services.
