This is a nicely kept park with three Pokestops and Gym. Normally, early mornings, lunch time and evening will have folks there. It has a small skate park, trail that leads around the park but changes from concrete to dirt to gravel. Hills are steep and ducks are plentiful though DO NOT FEED THEM BREAD as this causes a deformity, there are vending machine for a quarter but don't always work. Playground and basketball court are present and used often. There are covered and uncovered Picnic Areas with accessible trash and recycle bins, a gazebo with party area can be reserved. Also, near the duck pillars is a little library station where anyone can borrow a book or add a book. Though the window has been busted the idea and joy remains the same to encourage reading. My children and I have enjoyed this park...

Pay attention to the adults, I brought my young cousins to the park a few weeks ago and a man came into the playground with a gun on his hip and frightened the kids (I know Texas is “Open Carry” but really?! The PLAYGROUND??!) Another time, I came alone, two fights broke out near the skate park and those usually don’t end well here.. just look at KSAT.
This is just for you to be mindful of and yes, it could happen anywhere,...
