The discriminatory tone/treatment was very unexpected. I visited this business to purchase a refrigerator outright, no financing needed. Before I could even explain that, the sales rep pushed multiple financing options and withheld the one company I trusted due to prior/current business with them. When I asked about it, she said, “Oh yeah, they’re good if you have good credit,” making an unwarranted assumption about my financial situation.
I was referred by a friend who had a great experience with another salesperson. When I asked to work with that same person and inquired about his availability, I got vague answers, despite the rep admitting she’d already messaged him. Due to me bringing up the military discount my friend received, she quickly said, “We don’t offer military discounts.” I quickly called my friend on the spot to clarify. As she over heard our conversation confirming his experience just days ago, she used air quotes for this contradicting statement. We don’t offer “discounts,” but only the manager can apply them, and only if I don’t directly ask”. This conversation initiated the text to her manager. Now whether she did or not, further displays the untrustworthy communication received.
Her interaction with me was dismissive, condescending, and made me feel unwelcome. I believe the treatment was discriminatory and not in line with fair, professional business conduct. Sure, everyone has bad days but this is not a interaction any customer should receive. I will be filing this complaint to bring awareness and encourage accountability and/or training personnel better in communication. I bought a Samsung fridge from these guys and it stopped working 5 months later. I called the shop, I guess it was the owner who answered, he sent 2 guys to check out the fridge, I was told it was something electrical. I was not charged, though it did stop working 5 days later. Called the owner and he sent the same guys, this time I was charged $150 no problem I payed for them to fix the same "electrical issue." Fridge stopped working another 5 days later. This time I was getting upset my food was going bad and I really need a working fridge. I called again they promised to send someone the next day. 3 days passed and no one showed up. I kept calling a lot to the point they began to ignore my calls. I gave up and decided to call a fridge repair shop. Repair guy said he can't work on the fridge cause they rewired a lot of things and he can't diagnose it. He recommended to call a Samsung technician. Waiting to see if technician can fix this rewiring superior appliance made. I keep trying to contact the store but I get no answer. Really upset I bought a $1300 that was destined to not work for the long run, plus the $150 they pretty much hustled me out of. Update: samsung technician repairs...

They would not come work on it or pick it up so we had to take the fridge back to them. We do not have a truck nor a trailer so we had to ask our family to borrow both to take the fridge back.They claimed it was the mother board and we had to pay $100 to fix it. We called them and they kept saying the fridge wasn’t ready for 2 weeks. Finally they said it was done and we had to pick it up from them borrowing a truck and trailer again. We bring it home after a month it stops working again we take it back again and they said it’s a freon leek. 2 more weeks they keep the fridge then bring it back home again. We took the fridge back to them 3 different times and it still does not work! We have contacted the owner that all we went is a fridge that will work. We spent $1500 on a fridge that hasn’t worked and it’s been 8 months of fighting with them. It’s 8/21/21 and I still have a fridge that doesn’t work.
