AT Romance Bridal — Attraction in San Bruno

We contacted AT Romance at the end of last October for our SF City Hall Ceremony around Christmas time. May responded so quickly and we finalized the package and contract in just two days. We didn’t rent a wedding dress but did rent several hair decor and jewelry. May helped me pick and fit the ones onsite in the studio before our wedding day. She’s so considerate, kind and patient! On our wedding day, our bridal makeup-artist Sarah showed up on time, brought all her professional makeup tools to our hotel room and did an amazing job for my facial makeup and hair style! The makeup looked great in our wedding photos and didn’t give me any discomfort. She helped me put on my wedding dress and made sure everything was right before we departed for the ceremony. At city hall, Jack and Huahua, our photographers were extremely attentive, professional and patient. They picked good locations based on our pre-wedding phone call with Jack. They learned well of the spots, angels and lighting we wanted our perfect wedding photos to have. We enjoyed the photo-shooting with them a lot and thanks Jack for being a witness for our ceremony! After the wedding, Jack edited, compiled and shared our sneak peek and basic edited photos with us so fast. He later also mailed us the print outs of our favorite ones. I had a wonderful experience at At Romance Bridal!

I scheduled an appointment with my mom and we truly felt at ease during the appointment. The stylist truly gave us her full attention and was so helpful in giving us ideas and her perspectives on what would/ wouldn’t work.

The stylist gave us this cute gold pins to tag as many dresses that I wanted to try! She had such a fun system of trying on dresses in such an efficient way. She has two podiums, each time I was ready to try on the next dress, she would already have it propped for me to simply step in. Then I would press a doorbell that would signal her to come back and pin the gown up for me!

Even after I had already tried on the all the gowns I pinned, she welcomed me to have another round around the studio to pull any other dresses that caught my eye.

It was so nice to feel encouraged to try on different styles- I had spent a lot of time googling what would fit best on my body type. The internet told me that a mermaid fit wouldn’t flatter my body type, but wow was that wrong!

I never felt pressured to commit/ buy a dress, more so I felt encourages to have an open mind and to have fun during the process of dress searching!

May is a delight to work with. She is extremely kind, thoughtful, and patient.

I was initially sad prior to finding her studio as I was having a hard time finding a wedding dress that fit me. I actually had never considered myself to overweight or anything…That is until I tried dresses at other locations that honestly were beautiful but meant for slim individuals. It was a little depressing seeing a beautiful dress that you didn’t want to try on because you knew it wouldn’t fit.

So when I had the opportunity for a dress try on with May at her bridal studio, it made me super happy that she had multiple dresses that fit me and looked beautiful.

May was also very helpful in styling. She has great recommendations and I ended up choosing a dress she suggested that I initially did not have an interest in. It looked great and I was comfortable in it. She made the entire process extremely easy.

May also helped me find a makeup and hair artist for my photoshoot as well which turned out amazing.
