I remember when this was a fun and active place to go. Sadly, those days are past. Shops are closed, and there is an air of seediness and neglect. Commercial trash cans are placed by the eating area, which is rundown and has broken furniture. We ate at The Lobster Shack, and we will not be going back. The food was just ok for the price, and it was awkward when the owner came up and asked how the meal was, and the best we could manage was "It was good" when he so wanted us to love it. I felt kind of bad about it. Having said that, the people I was with said they had eaten at the Chinese restaurant and it was very good. There is also a Mexican food restaurant, a noodle shop and a cafe still open. My mom is in a wheelchair, and maneuvering her was difficult. I didn't find it handicapped friendly. I always look for sunny things to say about places I have been. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble with this one. I recommend that you go somewhere you know and love, or if you're in a mood to explore, try the Chinese restaurant. I'm going to give it a try, and hopefully have something good to say....
