Sit 'n Sleep — Attraction in San Clemente

I wanted to support a local business so I called here to buy a mattress as opposed to buying online. I wasn’t impressed right off the bat as I felt my questions weren’t being answered and the lady I spoke with seemed a bit arrogant; however I brushed it off because I’m very passionate about helping out our local stores right now.

As the conversation progressed it became apparent that this wasn’t the friendly, hometown business I had hoped it would be so I decided to hang up and try another store in the area before resorting to buying online.

Luckily, I happened to come across SC Furniture and Mattress store in San Clemente. They answered the phone after one or two rings (as opposed to having to go through sit and sleeps numerous corporate operators) and the owner helped me pick the perfect mattress for me in just a few minutes. They even deliver for free to my front door and had my mattress to me in just a few short days.

I highly recommend SC Furniture and Mattress in San Clemente and am grateful for coming across them after having such an unpleasant experience at sit and sleep!

I was about to hang up and head to the store to look at the mattress options they had in order to make a final selection but they don’t honor mask exemptions so I guess I’ll be purchasing the easy, online way after all from another company.

I received top notch customer service from sales rep Diane Richard last weekend. This lady really knows the bedding industry and as a result I received a comprehensive education in all things bedding. Despite not having a car and there being a store locally here in Encinitas that also sells my desired mattress, I made the trip to her store location to purchase my Technogel Armonia as I trusted I would be in excellent hands and wanted to give her my business. Diane did not disappoint as she is of the highest integrity and takes pride in providing stellar customer service. This is a family owned business and it shows in the attentive service. I also appreciate that there are no air plug ins at their store location as I struggle with MCS. This store has the widest selection of mattress brands and mattress types I have seen to date. Diane went above and beyond with her due diligence, her time AND scored me a fabulous deal as well. First I would like to say this was my first experience calling Sit and Sleep to inquire about buying my Sister a mattress. She has been suffering from Parkinson’s disease and now can not walk. Bless her husband Gary for all he does but her mattress was not adjustable and that’s what I wanted. Even with the stores closed I was connected to Jason. He assured me he could give me help with this decision. Little did I know I was talking to the Regional Manager. With over 20 years experience. It was like talking to a friend in the mattress business. What an asset he is to Sit and Sleep! I work in customer service so I know when I am talking to someone who cares and knows what he is talking about. In short, my experience was exceptional. My sisters mattress was delivered today to an adjustable base I had purchased for her. He even was able to locate some shorter legs for the base I had so she could get into her bed without having to be lifted in!!!
