Rocket Fizz — Local services in San Clemente

Oh man, this is an awesome store. I stopped in a short time ago with my best friend Molly. We had a long day of shopping for Calvin Klein's and need a sugar rush break. The gummi collection here is out of this world. My personal faves are the sour gummi cola bottles and sour worms. I was tempted to get the 5lb gummi bear but decided that would be biting off my than I could chew. The owners here are super awesome and very welcoming. They didn't flinch at all when I asked if I could borrow a tissue. The air was dry on the coast that day and I got an embarrassing bloody nose. I'll definitely be back. I’m extremely disappointed in Rocket Fizz San Clemente’s complete disregard for their staff and customers’ safety during COVID-19. I visited the store today and was surprised to find that both workers behind the counter were not wearing a mask. There was no shield or barrier of any kind at the counter either so I felt extremely uncomfortable when paying for my purchases and tried to stay as far away as possible. I was going to just walk out of the store but my son was begging for his favorite candy so I tried to make it as quick as possible. My family and I were killing time before a dinner reservation and decided to visit this location. I've been to the Rocket Fizz locations in both Santa Clarita and Thousand Oaks, but this store was the best I have been inside. Placed close to the San Clemente shoreline, it mixed the traditional feel of a Rocket Fizz store with the more laidback attitude of a beach town.
