Harland - South Park is truly a standout spot with an amazing vibe that makes it a must-visit in the area. From the moment you walk in, you’re struck by the sleek yet inviting atmosphere that perfectly blends modern style with a cozy, neighborhood feel. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite, a leisurely drink, or a full meal, Harland delivers a top-tier experience.
The menu is absolutely fantastic, with a variety of great options to satisfy any craving. Every dish is thoughtfully crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients that you can taste in every bite. It’s not just about the food, though—the drink selection is equally impressive, with plenty of options for beer enthusiasts. Harland has truly nailed the balance between offering elevated choices while maintaining a casual and approachable environment.
That said, I was surprised by their new rule about no laptops at the bar. It’s definitely a strange policy, especially since they seem fine with people taking up entire tables that could seat multiple guests. For a space that feels like a natural spot to settle in and get a little work done while enjoying the vibe, this rule seems counterintuitive. I’d love to know who came up with this idea and what the thought process was behind it. Hopefully, they’ll reconsider as they gather feedback from their loyal patrons.
Despite this odd rule, the service and overall experience at Harland more than make up for it. The staff are attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about creating a welcoming space for everyone. They go out of their way to make sure your visit is enjoyable, which keeps people coming back. It’s clear they care about their customers, and it shows in how they run the place.
Harland - South Park is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood, and it’s easy to see why it’s already become such a popular spot. While I think the no-laptop policy at the bar might hurt them in the long run, I still highly recommend this place for its great menu, cool vibe, and excellent service. If you’re in South Park, definitely stop by and see what Harland...

First time at this new spot in South Park and it really impressed. Harland finds itself in good company surrounded by some amazing talent in the likes of kindred and buena forchetta.
Beer- it took me 2 try’s to find a beer I liked the first, a cherry a sour wasnt just my type of sour, it was to sweet with not enough punch. I ended up with a west coast ipa, very delicious and well balanced. My wife got a Japanese larger which was full of flavor consisting of sweet and toasted rice.
Food- this one is tough. My wife got the patty melt. I thought it was amazing. Packed full of flavors; the melted cheese and grilled onions delivered an umami when mixed with the perfectly cooked patty. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich. Which was subpar untill my wife slathered it in the mayo from the fried pickled side which opened the whole sandwich to a next level of mind blowing flavor. Like what?! How could this not have been noticed in the kitchen? Once the sauce was applied the sandwich was the star of the table. With out the sauce the balance of flavors was way off. Do not order this sandwich without a side of the mayo.
I would 100% recommend and come back. Great food, great beer, and a cool place to be.

Read moreShowed the server a photo of the chicken satay salad online and asked if it was the same - he said yes. Came with totally different prep sauce all over not on side, chicken dry and over cooked. Took one bite and asked to switch for something else as it was not what the server agreed it was based on the photo. Server told me he couldn’t switch to a different food option and maybe I could get a discount on something else ordered off the menu. What?! So I sent it back was fully charged - he was tipped 20% on total food and one beer. I asked to speak with a manger ( I’ve worked in food/ hospitality for decades ) and was told no manager here - call tomorrow. The server was going the best he could without a manager and not his fault the food wasn’t as represented. Massive fail for customer service. I love this brewery’s beer but I will NEVER ORDER OR RECOMMEND THE FOOD HERE!!! Guess I’ll call my credit card company and refit the charges … so bummed as I was really hungry and only heard great things about this place. UPDATE : somehow magically they decided to comp the salad. I really want to like this place - they need to set themselves apart and improve the food stuff. And yes I still tipped the server as he did the...
