First time here and quite disappointed. The brown sugar drink was nothing like a brown sugar boba drink usually tastes. I asked for the one with the foam on top, but I got like a latte type of foam, nothing as advertised and trust me I know how that foam looks and tastes and its nothing like it. Basically my boba tasted like a hot like latte drink with a little to no flavor and boba. It was so hot that my tounge still burns and its been like 6 hours. Also the caramel machiato was like a brewed coffee with a splash of caramel flavor. Terrible basically. We could've gotten a brewed coffee for $2, but this costs like $4 something and it there wasn't even an expresso as they promised. On top of everything, it took forever to get the drinks. I understand they were busy, but the girl behind had my drink ready for soooo long and just kept them there. While waiting, I saw them but ofc didnt know if they were for me (as my number was next), as she kept them by her for soo long (10 min or so), so I thought they must be for an online order. But then they finally called my number and gave me the drinks that were there for so long. Waited so long, payed $10 for 2 drinks just to end up so disappointed. Save yourself the headache and dissapoitment and go to Starbucks or anywhere else. Only reason I am giving 2 stars is for the guy at the front. He seemed new but he was trying hard to make sure he gets things right and he was very nice. Other than that, we are not coming...

Initially gave 2 stars 11 months ago shortly after they opened. 11 months later, still 2 stars. This place is so disorganized. The drinks are ok but I can’t stand ordering here. Unfortunately there isn’t another nearby option.

First, don’t bother ordering through the app. I used it 4 times this past week and not once was my drink ready when I arrived regardless if I waited the estimated 25 minutes. All 4 times they didn’t start making my drink until I got there and checked in. Check in to pick up a mobile order? What’s the point?

Secondly, look at the photo. Can you imagine a more complicated “system”? Unlike every other restaurant and food establishment in the strip mall, KF is the only one that still hasn’t fully opened. People looking at the menus, people waiting to order, people checking-in for mobile orders, and people waiting for their drinks are all bunched together in a little corral in front. New people walking up have no clue where to go. If they want to help us avoid contact, they need to open their doors so we can distance ourselves inside and outside. Can you imagine how stupid Starbucks would look if they used this system?

Lastly, the "smoothies" aren't smooth at all. They always end up with chunks of ice at the bottom.

This place needs to learn something from Starbucks. Place an order, pick it up - inside - and go. If my drink is “melted” before I get there, that’s my problem. I’ll get there...

Food: 1/5 Service and Setting: 3/5 Value: 3/5

I haven’t had bad boba in a while but dang Kung Fu Tea in Carmel Mountain had to change that. I think that the issues I had here are unique to this location because I’ve never had a problem with the one in Convoy. Service is always busy and the staff always seems extremely rushed. I was so excited a couple years ago to get a “real” boba place in the neighborhood but they surely fell flat.

Cocoa Cream Wow Cap with Milk Cap: 1/5 I asked for a brown sugar black tea that I saw when I walked in and the cashier told me that they only had like a milk only version so I got that instead. As I walked out, I did see it again and realized she played me lol. The first very odd thing was that the boba was very hot. I know most places keep their boba warm so it doesn’t seize up, but this was like almost boiling and made my whole drink lukewarm. The boba itself was a true felony. You would think that the boba would be soft and fresh since it was so hot, but mixed in with slightly overcooked pieces were balls that were either too old or undercooked. The center of the boba were like pebbles/uncooked pasta so I couldn’t even finish the drink. The milk cap was okay though, slightly too runny for my taste. I do...

I love kung fu tea but I’ve had couple bad experiences with them so I’m gonna write a review and hopefully they see this and do something about these issues. It’s been at least 4,5 times that I ordered a drink and I always get boba ( it says it on the receipt and on the sticker on the drink) and they forget to add any boba to my drink. If I wanted plain juice or a milkshake I would not pay 8$ for it I would go get it for much cheaper from somewhere else. And most times that this has happened I have not had any time to go back and ask them to fix it. So at this point they owe me a lot of boba. One time they completely forgot to even make my drink. Today I ordered with doordash because I really wanted boba and again they forgot to put any boba in my drink 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ Doordash offered 2$ of credit and that’s not really gonna fix the fact that I’m sitting here drinking plane milkshake that I didn’t order. At first I thought to myself no way they forgot again but I drank a quarter of it and still no boba. It’s really annoying to pay a delivery fee, tip and extra fees on doordash and get no boba. The only reason I ordered this was for the boba.
