Nail 2000 Plus and spa — Attraction in San Diego

This is the only nail spa in San Diego that I have ever visited for a pedicure. Last time I went, a lady named Susan or Susie gave me an excellent service! The four stars is because of her. Today I visited again for a pedicure and I was assigned a lady named Mindy. she hardly cleaned anything properly! She left my heels as it is! When massaging my legs, she just spread the creams as though she is spreading a jam on the bread…there was no massage at all…I had to show her several times where my feet/ heels need to be cleaned, she was like I should do it at home. I don’t get time at all to do self-pedicure, that’s why I am spending money and time to get it done by a professional. She even doesn’t know how to apply nail polish…she left the the edge of my toe nails unpolished….I am so disappointed with...

OMG. When I say this place is the best, I am not exaggerating. I used to live in Mira Mesa, and I loved it then. Whenever I come back, I go every time and I am not disappointed. My husband is military and I’ve lived in a lot of different places, and this by far is the best place. There is not one person who does not pamper you like you are the queen of the world. Spring for the best pedicure bec it is the best deal. It says 15 mins massage but I’m sitting here right now and it’s been going for more than 30 mins and I’m in heaven. I haven’t gotten my nails painted yet, but I don’t think it’s going to matter since my legs basically are the most callous free and relaxed they’ve been since the last time I was here. Did pedicure here which was all right. Also did manicure and it was a terrible experience. It took longer than expected and the person who did it didn't look experienced. She kept messing up and ended up removing too much of my cuticles which cause my nails to hurt even after a couple of days. I had to stop her from doing that. Also, I didn't like the level of hygene there. The lady who did the manicure kept using my nail file on her own nails. I'm not really sure if they sanitize stuff or how well they do it. Typical to other nail salons, very bad communication skills as they didn't know much English. I definitely will not go there again. I wish other reviewers were more honest, or all the staff there were as good...
