Sales associates at this Ross aren't very helpful ,rude if you ask me. I tried to exchange a pair of baby Adidas brand new of course never worn still attached with tags didn't have the receipt . I paid $24.99 plus tax all I expected was store credit until they tell me that without a receipt they would give me a store credit of whatever the current sale price was , which was .49 CENTS . I felt so insulted and angry with disbelief. Also a Nike 2piece jogging set I paid $25.99 I would get credit in the amount of $5.99and a dkny 2piece jogging set I paid 14.99 I would get $1.99 credit for . Needles to say I went home looked for my receipts didn't have the receipt for the shoes so I kept them and have them away. The receipt for the other 2 I found . I went back and asked if this was the actual current sale price would I be able to o buy at this ridiculous price.? Their answer was yes, only thing was they couldn't sell me the items because they'd have to be in quarantine for 72 hours before being sold again . I asked to speak to the manager and didn't make a difference. So I asked exact date and time these could be purchased . I went back when told and the items had actually been put on the rack the day before . So much for the company 72hour rules.i found the items and not to my surprise they weren't marked down . I took them to the counter and when scanned they still rang up ticket price . I then asked her to check again because I was given different prices. She then said she'd have to manually enter the info once she did that they finally came up $5.99 and $1.99 . I said ok I'll take em she said I'd need to ask if they could be purchased without being physically marked down . I had her ask a team leader who was also ringing up customer at the time and he told her to ask the manager once the manager was located she refused to make any immediate overrides or changes saying if I wanted to buy those items I'd have to wait till they got marked down . I didn't understand why either way I left and came back 15 minutes later to find out would they hold em or at least let me know when mark downs get done to be there. Finally as I had complained the team leader who the associate had asked went ahead rang me up and printed out the new marked down tags instantly as he had the price tagger thing right at his register and I got these items . I could not believe how easily it was done and their unwillingness to do anything to provide good customer service. These weren't the same associates that took my return therefore that didn't play a part in their unwillingness to help me out. So be careful as I wouldn't have known that they were up to be marked down they would've sold those same items for full price .I feel like that's bad business and Dishonest ,very rude and don't care about...
Read moreWOW..there's already a review in here saying exactly what I'm about to say, which is that I was ran out of this place by employees last night (Saturday) ! I mean they didn't ask me to leave but they might as well, with 3 staffers saying "HELLO" in the space of literally one minute or less!! Including an older white woman who asked me directly "what are you looking for?" For somebody in retail she should know is called SHOPPING!! If they only knew that I'm a big Ross shopper and have been for years and have the credit card statements to prove! Yes, I like cheap stuff what can I say...but that's how I can afford to shop all the time, because I'm one of those people who has lots of clothes and yet "have nothing to wear!" And rather than used from a thrift shop, I prefer new from Ross and I have a variety of tastes so I look at EVERY-THING and usually nobody bothers me...even at this store I was there two previous occasions before and was able to shop just fine (matter of fact purchased something both times!) But obviously not last night and contrary to the other reviewer; I will not go back to this stupid store! If people are taking stuff without paying, there must be other ways to prevent that, rather than harrasing those of us who are there to shop legitimately! I mean if I have to pick one... I much rather have some undercover person who observes my every move, than to have the in your face "HELLO'S" just to let you know you are being watched and judged... (most likely on...
Read moreThe clothes were a bit nicer then I thought they would be, I bought 5 summer dresses that I really liked. However, an employee named Yasmine, perhaps in her mid fifties was so mean to me and other customers. I asked her opinion on a dress I tried on and felt perhaps it was too young for me...she said "I am not telling you ANYTHING! I DONT HAVE TO AND DONT WANT TO!' I almost started to cry. Such hostility for what??? Then I said why do you work here if you hate talking to people and you think fashion is stupid? She walked away.. I did nothing to her but say a few kind words?? Then I let go of my service dogs leash and she screamed for the manager. That woman humiliated me, scoffed at my invisible disability and said as she screamed for the manager that I had let my dogs leash go. Of course I had, I was looking at my backside in the mirror. She refused to help me out with even a word, my dog just stood there looking puzzled as Yasmine belittled me and shamed me for having a stroller for a DAM DOG! I don't think I can let this one go. There must be some words that woman needs to hear. We all know life is hard Yasmine, you don't have it any harder then the rest of us! The other women who helped me in the store were wonderful...thanks Gals,I hope that issue is...
