I have been a client at Laser Cafe for over a year, primarily seeking semaglutide treatments. Unfortunately, my experience has been marked by significant inconsistency in treatment quality due to high staff turnover and varying levels of competence among the team.

Throughout my visits, I encountered inconsistent instruction and advice, which negatively impacted my results. Each staff member seemed to have a different approach, often disregarding protocols. For example, many lacked proper technique for injections, often administering them carelessly without ensuring the best outcome or minimizing discomfort.

The one bright spot in my experience was Jessica. Her professionalism and knowledge stood out immediately. Jessica took the time to thoroughly evaluate my progress and discussed the best paths forward, incorporating her expertise and understanding of semaglutide. Her consistency and attention to detail were refreshing and ultimately led to improved results and a better overall experience.

However, when Jessica was unavailable, my poor experiences resumed. The lack of standardized practices and inadequate training among other staff members is a significant issue. A medical spa should ensure that all staff adhere to consistent protocols and provide a high standard of care.

The quality of the services and staff professionalism have gone down drastically in the past year or two. It seems that many of the employees who used to work there are now gone (is 5 of the receptionists and nurses quitting in a year normal turnover?), and the newer ones have been ableist, incompetent, lacking empathy, and sarcastic. Also, their prices appear to have gone up pretty drastically; I paid more than I used to for about half of what I used to get. Extremely disappointing; I've given a 3 star rating for grace because they used to be great, but it's at the point that I wouldn't even be returning here if it was free.

A couple of the uncomfortable things that have occurred during my last 3 visits: One of the receptionists discussed sensitive medical history of mine in the lobby within earshot of other clients and employees, and when I politely said I didn't feel comfortable discussing it, she raised her voice and continued (this is actually illegal, and it's shocking that the new employees aren't HIPAA trained or just lack any empathy whatsoever). During one of their services, they worked on the wrong part of my body. They've mentioned that machines were broken, and that I'd need to switch to a different one for the next 8 weeks, then used it at the appointment anyway. When asking if a chair could be adjusted slightly to accommodate a disability, staff replied with sarcasm. The...

I called and asked so many questions trying to weigh the pros and cons to this new weight loss miracle, from what other people claimed. The front office staff was extremely professional and so nice, they had answers to all my questions. I finally decided to give it a chance and boy am I so happy!
