This place has terrible staff! Unprofessional and extremely rude. My wife and I were treated so poorly by staff at this location on 7/25/2021. They truly don't care for your dog and theirhealthy Our! Our dog has been sick since 7/22/21. We took a sample of his stool to banfield on 7/24/21. The Vet on duty didn't even bother to check my dog to make sure he is okay or not dehydrated. They just prescribed big chewable tablets plus 3 of their medical cans food to give my dog.. I used my wellness plan and sent me home without again, doing a physical check on my dog or caring to know if my dog is dehydrated or not or how bad his condition was!!!!
I informed the vet on 7/25/21 via a call at 11:50am spoked with N.Perkins that our dog has nonestop diarrhea for past 4 days and he hasn't had any appetite to eat in order for us to give those chewable tablets. I also informed N.Perkins that we tried so many things and the canned food they sold us the day before, bottom line our dog is not feeling good! N.perkins instead of advising to perhaps bring our dog in for check up, she suggested to try feed my dog! I was very frustrated as she didn't even listen to our conversation and her answer was a proof of it, she simply disconnected the call! We took our dog to the store at 3.40 pm and N.perkins and Dr. TINDELL called security on us without even trying to resolve the issue. DR. TINDELL FAILED TO EVEN CHECK ON OUR DOG OR EVEN SUGGEST TO PERHAPS CALM THINGS DOWN TO MAYBE TRY A DIFFERENT WAY OR MEDICATION. DR. TINDELL SIMPLY YELLED IN FRONT OF HER OTHER CUSTOMERS IN THE LOBBY THAT WE ARE NOT EVER WELCOME AT ANY BANFIELD! DR. TINDELL AND N.PERKINS ARE TERRIBLE STAFFS. THEY DONT CARE FOR THE PAT'S HEALTH. SIMPLY JUST THERE TO COLLECT PAYCHECK. THEY DIDN'T CARE FOR MY DOG WHEN WE INFORMED THEM ITS BEEN 4 DAYS OUR DOG IS SICK AND HASN'T EATEN ANYTHING. I WILL TAKE MY BUSINESS...
Read moreWeâve been coming to Banfield for many years (close to 20 years). We have three dogs. We have the wellness plan with Banfield because it is affordable. We have always had friendly service.
Today we came in for a cytopoint shot for our dog who had an itchy foot. We got to the location 5 minutes before our appointment and were not seen until 30 minutes after we were scheduled. We were told that the doctor got behind. We understand the previous visits could have gone long. However, taking this long to see a vet tech is always taken 30 minutes to be seen.
We were assigned to a room and when we got in there, the table had not been cleaned from the prior client. The table was covered in dog hair and prints from the previous dog.
when the vet tech came in, she informed us that we were also getting a 6 month comprehensive examination part of our wellness program. We had not been informed about this when we were checked in as we had only scheduled for a cytopoint shot with the vet tech.
So now what shouldâve been a 15 minute appointment for just a shot with the Vet tech has turned into a full physical with the vet, in addition to the shot. We have now been here well over an hour. One of the big problems with Banfield is checkout. It can take 10 to 15 minutes just to check out.
We are considering going to another vet because of the time that it takes for each visit. On another note, our dogs had their annual wellness visit six months ago and they told us today that this is a six month check. If thatâs the case, why havenât we received any notification for our other two dogs for a 6 month...
Read moreJust go to a mom and pop vet and not here. Been going to Banfield for 2+ years (simply because itâs close to our house), but it has proven to be a disappointment time and time again. Communication about your animalâs health is sub par, and anytime you call for any reason you will wait on hold for minimum 15 minutes (Iâve been on hold 25+ minutes as I write this).
They will try to sell you in their monthly âwellness planâ at every turn, and they conveniently leave out that its an annual contract. Even with the wellness plan, after medication and the random tests they push (even for recurring issues where you know what the problem is) the visits will still be minimum $200 somehow. Just get pet insurance.
They can also be very disorganized. Brought our senior cat in for weight loss earlier this year, they ran tests and gave us some medications to help her liver but the vet wasnât there when we picked our cat up and the front desk didnât tell us that they could definitively figure out what was wrong. When we finished the two week cycle of meds I called back (waited on hold for another hour like usual) and asked for next steps. Thatâs when they finally told me that our cat had liver disease. Youâd think theyâd make it a priority to tell us that when we picked her up from the vet initially. Even with the wellness plan, the tests and medications still cost several hundred dollars and the vet offered little to no advice on what to do next.
Again, just go with a family vet that will get to know your...
