The Golden Gate Park’s Dahlia Dell offers the most beautiful flowers to all visitors to enjoy. The dahlia flowers are planted by dedicated volunteers using the best practices in tuber selections, planting materials, and protections from pests and animals. The Dell is also blessed with cool weather and drip irrigation. Flowers begin in late Spring and last through November. Recommended to all visitors locally and tourists from all over. While the Golden Gate Park has other flower garden, the Tulip garden, the Rhododendron garden, the Rose garden, and a Hydrangea garden, the Dahlia Garden offers the most glamours flowers, over the Spring into the Fall season.

Read moreNot only lovely, but very informational! I love that they were tagged so I could do further research on each variety. One huge flaw, there is no handicap parking and accessibility. My mother had to stay in the car while I walked over across the promenade to the grounds. That was very sad, the entire botanical gardens grounds were stunning but there should be some accommodation for handicapped individuals, if there is I certainly didn't see anything on a map or anything marked...
